Thank goodness for the override switch as it's a cold, miserable windy June day and the thermostat is not bound to the receiver. Unfortunately for me these clear, concise and easy to understand instructions have not worked despite new batteries and several attempts. I'm still under guarantee but I've had nothing but trouble from this boiler and even the manufacturer has replaced a couple of parts already. I'm exasperated! Thank you so much, I have just followed your instructions on how to repair the T3r thermostat after the screen kept going off and found the battery connections were loose and the circuit board had popped off a clip (after meeting a 3 year old). I clicked it all back, adjusted the battery connections and was then able to re-pair the programmer and receiver with these instructions. Took less than 30 mins. 😊 Thank you!

The unit in the picture was pulled from my deep freezer and moved into my truck center console (monitoring humidity for water leak). It took a few hours to thaw and normalize temp and humidity reading going from those extremes, as expected, but it handled it well and is still running great.
Absolutely fantastic and greatly helpful video. I was having this trouble for last three days, the boiler was working but the central heating wasn't. The BBC weather bulletin said a huge cold wave was to begin in a day or two. l spoke to the insurer and after two lengthy phone calls they said it could be one of six probable faults - fixing which could cost me anything from £99 to £1400. I was faced with the prospect of having to pay a big amount for an emergency fixing. It was then I found your video on YT and your very clearly described instructions fixed the issue in 10 minutes. So clear, thank you. I broke my T3 thermostat (knocked it off the wall by accident) and had to buy the receiver and thermostat pair and rebind the new thermostat. The instructions from Honeywell were USELESS! It says things like "press the button". Following your video step by step it was really easy to bind the new thermostat to the existing receiver. Honeywell should link to this instead of their own rubbish.

Thanks Mark. They don't provide any instructions at all with the Honeywell T3R to bind, which is absolute nonsense. Honeywell don't even tell you what the lights or symbols on the receiver mean, or what the boiler button actually does. You just saved me an expensive call out. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for sharing this worked for me finally, it's been freezing and couldn't understand why it kept flickering and cutting off. Battery change didn't work, this worked well. Initially at the rebind it just switched to one.. Took me a while to realise the receiver needed to be reset again to flash amber to be able to recieve then worked. Bless you. Hello Mark. Thank you, thank you. I hadn't noticed the battery symbol on my T3, its hardly noticeable. Then my boiler went off, batteries depleted, I knew to press the over ride button, so wasn't without heat. The flame symbol wasn't coming up when i pressed the +. I'm not comfortable with technical things being an older lady and looked at several sites for something I could do to solve the problem, which were no help to me. Then I found your site and I realised I needed to re-bind. Your instructions are so easy to follow and it gave me the confidence to follow the steps to rebind, which I did, I now have the wireless symbol which I hadn't noticed before, the flame and the heating is working perfectly. Thank you. How do I buy you a coffee? We need plain, easy explanations which as far as I can see you are the only site that does this. Please keep up the great work.

Thank you so much, your fix worked perfectly for me. Honeywell should document this, but it seems they prefer to leave people freeze in their homes until a boiler 'specialist' can rip them off to resolve this issue.

Fantastic video. You saved my sanity, I was at the end of my tether I was trying not to call the engineers it a new heating system so i know it wasn't a major problem but I was about to go onto cold turkey 😢
Very useful videa and very clearly and well presented making everything easy. I dropped our thermostat last night which seemed to completely reset it and disconnect it from the receiver. Got it up and running within minutes this morning.

Hello Mark. Thank you, thank you. I hadn't noticed the battery symbol on my T3, its hardly noticeable. Then my boiler went off, batteries depleted, I knew to press the over ride button, so wasn't without heat. The flame symbol wasn't coming up when i pressed the +. I'm not comfortable with technical things being an older lady and looked at several sites for something I could do to solve the problem, which were no help to me. Then I found your site and I realised I needed to re-bind. Your instructions are so easy to follow and it gave me the confidence to follow the steps to rebind, which I did, I now have the wireless symbol which I hadn't noticed before, the flame and the heating is working perfectly. Thank you. How do I buy you a coffee? We need plain, easy explanations which as far as I can see you are the only site that does this. Please keep up the great work.
