I have wore mine several times. Solid quality and the music function is very nice. For me they did not work at the indoor range...my ears rang for hours back at the house. I fully note I may not have them fit them as best as possible, so I will give one more chance. I did try several tips and I thought they were correct. I have used them 3-4 times to mow my yard and they are great for that.

Absolutely the worst hearing protection I’ve used. I could not get through the first stage of an IDPA match & my ears are still ringing. They were ok for mowing but that was more for Bluetooth. Hickok’s ear band are far superior. I sent mine back for a refund within two weeks. Other shooter’s in our area just flat out call them garbage. Buyer beware!

I have the first version. I like them, but I actually wore them incorrectly a couple of times at first. They work better when you wear them the way they were meant to be worn. They work well for me to have conversations at the range (indoor rifles allowed), but I haven't used them in a competition or anything (yet).

I watched several videos on how to wear them properly along with all combinations of the shooters foam plug but could not get a good seal.

@@jrshort138 Definitely. I have the Walker Razor. I alternate between them. Neither one is perfect, but the price point is good

@@AdL629 what do you think about the razor? Looking at them and Excel. Spent a lot on noise canceling buds... twice and I'm done with them until the tech gets better. Have older muffs from Walker and Peltor, looking for something new and better.

@@HD-J.R. I've seen the Razor for sale under $100. I don't like that the electronics sit on your collar bone; it gets bumped when I shoulder anything. Also, I would not recommend Axil or Walker Razor for jogging. Walker wasn't water/sweat proof (used warranty no problem), and the wires came loose on the Axil after a couple runs. Sound will cut in and out occasionally if I move too quickly (also a negative for competition). I'm trying hard to avoid buying a third pair, but I'll have to get to the next price tier.
