I've seen the sky like this in Florida a couple times. Specifically I mean green , as we can get severe weather often in summer. Green usually means hail and high winds. When it turns black like it did later in the video , that's when you have to worry about tornadoes.

Texas has inadequate storm chasers employed by their news stations. Storm chasers have meteorological backgrounds and can actually stay safer and protect the public with actual information and not just a picture with a reporter. Here in Oklahoma we know to tune in to the storm chasers employed by the news stations. They save lives with their valuable information and warnings.

I live in Montana and we don't have tornados here simply because our geography makes it near impossible for them to form, but in the early 2000's I massive tornado came through billings and ripped the roof off our arena. People were so in shock that a tornado actually touched down they were watching it the entire time it was on the ground. Its also a thing we do here where if there's a tornado warning we will all stand outside watching and waiting and if there's a hint of a tornado then everyone knows that very second.

I live in Frisco so this was really scary just watching this and living directly in that storm. My and family and I were lucky enough to get just bad thunder and rain but no tornado.
Hurricanes are worse as they cover more land and do more damage over time. And can be tracked. Tornado spawns are unpredictable. They can form near the lighter side of the sky. Basically tricking you. That's why everyone is saying they need to get inside asap

To all the people saying they should get inside because of the tornado siren, If looks as if that storm is moving away/has already passed the area they are in, you can tell because of the wind direction blowing in towards the storm, the clearing sky behind the storm and the pavement already wet.

So i was chilling playing roblox with my friend and sirens went off i said gtg and I started to look outside and saw a funnel cloud forming and i saw my mom and she thought it was a accident but its true. It was forming so when the tornado sirens stopped i was so relieved, but i was still terrified. Anyone in frisco including me, stay safe. ❤️
Just because the sirens stopped doesn’t mean the danger is gone stay in a safe place until you can verify that it is safe to come out
