Glad to see i5- 12400f with this GPU, not like other people who tested it with 300+ dollar CPU. Especially in current days when most games CPU depending.
I got a 4060 recently. Undervolted, set 2790 Mhz at 950 mV. Temperature rarely crosses 60 degrees and mine is the windforce card with notoriously bad cooling. Edit - In case anyone wondering, here RX 6600 is 230$, 3060 is 250$ and 4060 is 280$. So it doesn't make sense to buy AMD cards and B580 hasn't launched yet
While rx 6600 is the slowest card and also at the bottom of my recommended videocards it is also the cheapest and 500 wats mid quality PSU is enough for it.
Well u would need a 550w psu for all these card anyway-b580 may require a 600w though for long life as it only shows half of its tdp 190w in testing for some reason...still but it draws the full power
No actually it has a power draw of 190w..don't get fooled by the 100w u see...nvidia4060shows full power draw as its tdp is 115w but the making of intel is such it only shows half tdp

Don't bother upgrade to any of these cards, aim at least 50% more improvement, so around rx7700 xt/6800/ rtx 4070 (avoid 4060ti), or next gen equivalent of those cards.

Even with DLSS the 4060 wont stand a chance in hell at running modern games at a native resolution unless its 1080p. The card will end up relying on DLSS due to its VRAM buffer on anything 1440p and above. At $440 to $500 I should have the option to run most games at 1440p, but you wont be able to on 8GB cards. Nvidia has once again overstated its value and this time I hope they actually feel it. I doubt it because even AMD has ditched making budget GPU's. There must be a very low margin for them sales wise.

But let's assume it goes up ,it will still take atleast 4 years before 8gb starts becoming an actual problem for newest games. 4060 will be over 5 years old by then. B580 will be trash before that like A770 was from start, some people bought that for 16gb thinking they were smart, huge fail. Nothing you can buy now for it to make sense to futureproof. 4070s costs twice as much as 4060.
Lmfao cope more😂, the rtx3060 costantly outperformed the 6600 by 15-20% on average in 1080p and more than 25-30% in 2k, the 6600 has 8gb of vram and in a few years Will belong to the trashcan while the 3060 Is futureproofed with 12. 6600 costs around 180, while 3060 200, i would gladly spend 20$ more if that means having dlls, RT and pt with over 15% Better performance. The only thing Where the 6600 Wins Is Power consumption, but even there the 6600 consumes 132w and the 3060 175, 40w Is nothing lol. Stop daydreaming blud. But yea, brand new the 580 Is the Better deal and the 4060 the overall worse, Just for the fact that It costs 300 and has only 8gb of vram, wich does not justify the cost even with Nvidia features and low TDP

@fantikms I tried the games ( last of us part 1 and diablo 4) few months ago, where people cried about vram during their launch, to see if it's an actual issue. Lo and behold, it was amazing experience with 4060 locked fps to 60. I then turned on raytraced shadows to maxed in diablo 4 for lols. On my 24 inch monitor, the high and ultra texture looked indiscernible in tlou1 and i have decent eyesight.

Intel has come a long way. The B580 is comfortably beating the 6600 and 3060 WITH less power draw. Very impressive.

In some cases you need to set the texture medium or high, but overall 8gb is still good for 1080p. Especially games like cs and dota
