I just love the way that Cheyenne spools up sounding like a Navajo piston. Lol
Pete is one senior experienced Pilot that I respect and would love to meet one of these days. A humble soul despite his tones of knowledge.
I ferried as Co Pilot a Beechcraft Baron from Panama to Florida via Blue Fields - Honduras , and the Cayman Islands. We almost ended up swimming in the Caribbean Sea in the middle of the darkness of night !
Yep
Sounds to me that the delivery fee for some of those old birds is more than their dollar value.
That Cheyanne is a beautiful-looking plane.
That green landing gear light was so obviously rigged for the drama. The outside camera made sure to film the plane at an angle where you couldn't see the landing gear, which was likely perfectly fine.
8:35 Since when did manila move to Indonesia? haha
Ferry a Cessna 152 from Florida to Panama...this is fun especially crossing the 12,500 foot Sierra Madre mountain range through a 5,000 foot pass from Minatitlan to Tapachula....
Oh man this is so cool! Talk about learning from the pros! I just subscribed and look forward to more episodes. Thanks guys!
I flew a 172r model from BA Argentina to Atlanta .. it was long !!
Crossing our fingers and going for it . Wow
7:58 im just gonna leave this here...
they put piston sounds on a turboprop plane, and turboprop sounds on a piston plane...
What a fing joke, won't even watch. Good catch though.
Yup
Right I caught that as well.
Yeah, I caught that also.
Holyshit! That's one long-ass flight to the Philippines!!
This is a cool show.
25:00 like Chapecoense case, they didn't made it, they crashed a few miles from runway with a whole football team
Too much added drama
Really love it 💯
Greeting from Indonesia , i love wingmen 👍👍
Should you test the trim responses during pre-flight checks?
Yes you should as a Cessna 172 pilot I should know…
This is very interesting! I’ve been watching the Mayday Air Disasters for months now and feel like I know all the features on the big airliners. But, these little planes are a whole different ballgame.
You are learning nothing from both programs.
@@ShainAndrews no one cares shain
@@Radarriderr Says the person hiding behind a keyboard and alias....
@@ShainAndrews Uh, oh, the terrifying “you da man hiding behind your keyboard” comment.
That’s worse than hearing mayday mayday mayday from the guy or gal sitting next to you.
Of course, the comment is *unbelievably unoriginal,* as it’s made seemingly all the time by insecure men.
Yep, no doubt that comment will be seen again within a few hours.
smh 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@sludge4125 Good on you. Sticking up for your sis like that. Your step dad did you guys right.
These guys are badass
no… they really aren’t… this is way over dramatized
@@luispru945 who are you?
We have a tough guy behind a keyboard here named Shain. (Well, that’s the name he hides behind.)
Man, don’t tick Shain off. He will start tapping away until he has completed the kill!!
Then his mommy tucks him in to beddy by.
That cheyenne..i Wonder if that is still flying
Problem is...we cant find the UP NEXT???????
Look at that they stopped in my home airport in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Ahh yes, trim, a primary flight control that send your plane doing uncontrollable backflips if it failed.
The trim failing is really just an inconvience, nothing all that dangerous.
link to next episode?
That gabe guy the one who would start a fight get his ass kicked then call the cops
Always wanted to be a pilot
Check out Kerry s books: Ferry Flights; Dangerous Flights
my man just bought a hangar and got a cuban
I hope they had a better map than the makers of the TV show - their map displaced Manila 1500 km to the south...
Although the headwind speeds can very somewhat they should still know they have a headwind and should already calculate for that with fuel burn. you always want to leave an extra hour in the plane and try to never violate that. If your trip eats into that extra houryour taking on extra risk!. These guys are pros and for them to simply run out fuel on a ferry flight would be all on them!. No excuses fuel starvation =Pilot error! As far as the windshield heater goes you mean that those so called pros didn't check that before they left? Doesn't sound very professional to me? Find out halfway through the flight?
Fake drama like all these shows.
Why the hell sell a wreck without checking it first???
Checking it is up to the buyer. It’s called a Prebuy Inspection and it’s done on the buyers dime. These guys are just the ferry pilots. They just make sure it’s safe enough for them to fly.
Kory it at least a good boss and treats his employees like human being and with respect. Not like Joe from ice pilots who is a nasty boss and treats his employees like crap. I wouldn’t work for Joe for 1 day without quitting and hiring a good lawyer to sue him for a hostile work environment.
Aviation isn’t in meters or kilometers except in China and like two other small Asian countries. If you’re trying to do it right use miles for distance and feet for flight level. You know, like every pilot on the planet does and 99% of the aviation world does.
This is so fake it’s not even close to being real
It's TV.....get over it. ...
Wow these are the last people you want to hire to do a delivery to much Drama
It’s scripted to be dramatic.
maaaaaan... i understand aviation is near impossible to make palatable to the general audience but man... the scripting and 'acting' is just sooooo bruuuuuuutal. like, you CANNOT watch this as an actual pilot and it sucks.... I WANT TO LOVE THIS :(
Just put it on a fucking boat
Sure, pay twice as much to have it delivered. Brilliant 🤦♂️
@@DavidB-tq4go first of all, can't fall out of the sky. second, yank off the wings and most prop planes should fit in a 40f standard container.
@@marremarre523 …lol, as a pilot I’m very familiar with “prop planes” and only the smallest will fit in a 40’ container.
Also, gotta pay to remove the wings, gotta rent the container, pay for the shipping then pay to have the wings and all related systems reinstalled. You’re looking at big bucks to do that with a twin because of the engines, hydraulic systems for the landing gear, fuel lines and electrical wiring. Even a single engine with retractable gear still has all of those connections. There’s a helluva lot more to it than just “yanking off the wings.” Also, what about the rudder? If it’s too tall it has to be removed also.
I’ve transported my share of airplanes, even had a few imported to the states. Container shipping is far more expensive than a ferry pilot.
Pilots are dumb oil temp is overheating then oil pressure would be different
Mechanics have killed plenty of pilots.
Sobering thought.
click bait, exaggeration... pathetic
