Sad end to a great mans life, the type of thing that happens all too often for fighters and other types of athletes after their careers are over, that goes for all type of sport but especially boxing 🤔💯🏴
Just ordered the two part book on his life and fights and finally saved up enough to get a signed photo of his which I will hang with the other Welsh boxers I have in my living room, shame there’s never a Jim Driscoll signature out for sale or that I wouldn’t be able to afford it. I'm not familiar at all with the old time European fighters (except Sullivan) not before Carpentier,Cerdan, Carnera & a few more around then. After Henry Cooper to today I know most "big name guys from across the pond", but have lots of holes in my knowledge still.
