Why do you flip the image while you're working on it?
Just curious because I'm learning to draw myself

usually to check if proportions are correct. sometimes if you flip a drawing it winds up looking inaccurate, allowing you to fix it. sometimes it's also just easier to draw something if you flip the canvas

^ It also helps if you are drawing someone in a neutral standing position. Because if you don't flip the canvas, the drawing can be leaning slightly and you won't notice.
