I watch a lot of period pieces and so I was worried if their integrity would remain intact because I knew that the show would have a modern twist to it, but they did a phenomenal job in doing so. The show gave me that feel that period pieces do but also related to me as a 20 year old living in this day in age. They’re both great actors but her facial expressions stole the show at times. Much love for the whole cast and crew.

Man Regé and Phoebe’s chemistry on the show is out of this world. Was kinda surprised how in interviews and off camera stuff they don’t seem as close and they didn’t interact that much. Hoping they’ll get closer in season 2 if the writer does not go by the book and focuses on Anthony’s story lol I haven’t gotten enough of these two yet.

I think Phoebe is just shy in these interviews. I also think that they are very good actors and they worked hard with the intimate coordinator to make those scenes seem so in sync and magical. I do think that one of them may be more fond of the other. Just saying...
Great acting remember every one was on lock down because of the virus going everywhere and he was in Los Angeles and she was in London do they couldn't touch eachother they were in separate cities where they gave their interview the interviewer sometime asked him more questions but he was always a gentleman to her and told everyone what a great person and actress she was

The interviews were during covid and zoom, which was awkward. Phoebe has bad anxiety and Rege is very private.

That raised eyebrow and when he said "I burn for you." I put my hand over my mouth as I gasped. The passion, the love scenes were oooolalalala!!! And the way the there was not much a mention or big to do about the Duke, the Queen, Lady Danbury or Marina being people of color, because they were just people, that was wonderful because that's the way it should be in real life! Just people. Eight episodes are not enough!

Season two will focus on Anthony, but in book 2 there were some flashbacks I think to Daphne's pregnancy and relationship with Simon. But I agree, we need more of them in season two 😊😊😊
