This would be why people use practice blocks until at least getting the basics of a movement down. I always do that to get the basic movement correct but then when you switch to actual cards you have to make some adjustments as you learn how to control spillage. But I like the practice blocks because that allows me to take things in baby steps. Get the move down without playing 52 pickup, then figure out how to do it without dropping cards.
This is my new favorite Cardistry flourish. Thank you CardMechanic for this excellent, detailed and easy to follow lesson. I will be adding this to my daily repertoire. This is the perfect beginner flourish for me since I have finally got down to a fairly acceptable degree, the Charlier cut, the Scissor Cut, the Revolution Cut, the Faro Shuffle, the Dribble, Thumb fan, Thumb cut, Riffle shuffle, and the Spring.
started practicing and in following along as best I could, kind of turned it into my own thing... middle under, front to middle, middle to back... then the last book bit.
It's wild how the bottom 4/5th of the deck never changes, and the only part that is actually being cut, is that top 1/5 packet, where you split and reverse its position with the bottom split section. Other than that, you're reassembling the entire deck exactly as it was before the cut. Lots of useful misdirection can be had with that fake series of cuts.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost my password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
Just now getting into Cardistry..And collecting different decks now .... ETC...Once I started watching Flourishing I fell in love Its ridiculously Amazing‼️....It's a gorgeous art ..Now it's time for me to start learning 👍I'm subbing to you're channel...Great start for me with watching this vid....
This one is so cool to learn as a beginner! I'm struggling greatly with trying to make the Werm and Sybil work as quickly as they should, and practicing this is a lovely change of pace. Thanks so much for the tutorial!
this was the first cardistry move i learned a while ago. now i tried to learn the sybil cut and realised that this move taught me the skills to make learning sybil cut much easier, thanks a lot!
This was excellent! You broke it down so well and I can do this one. I already had some other basics locked in so this is a perfect next step. Thank you. I’m off to practice lol
Decided to maybe make some use of my growing playing card collection and start learning cardistry at 1:30am. After a few tries I’m already getting smoother. I didn’t expect it to be this easy but I think your tutorial is just really good. I’ll keep practicing!
Man I used to be able to do the Jackson 5 by the buck twins, I haven't touch a deck for 4 years and this was a trip down memory lane. I miss doing Cardistry, thanks for this. Gonna try and find my long lost muscle memory of Sybil alongside this and other flourishes
Wow! An excellent modification of the SYBIL CUT!. I love the name QUICKBOOK. Actually I myself have a variation of SYBIL CUT, and I like to call it TELESWING CUT or TM SHUFFLE. By the way, great tutorial!❤💖
When I close the last packet I like to peal out the bottom card of the last packet and then I can do flicker and then revelation cut an backdrop and then it makes a really long and nice flourish grate flourish I really like to do it
Liked it done it where in your opinion can I go half way through looking to continue the move for little longer instead of closing book I found 4 different moves but different points… help 🤣🤦🏻♂️
Very nice, if instead of breaking the last packet in two you just dropped it on the pack or even put it on top like closing a book you would have a full deck false shuffle, or at least it looked that way to me
Hi I was just wondering if you could suggest a few flourishes and card tricks I could try because I have recently started learning card tricks and I am finding hard to do them because im only a kid my hands aren’t big enough to do most of the tricks. Do you have any suggestions
My deck keeps landing weirdly! I've done this twice, making sure to follow every step, but a few cards keep getting mixed into different suits and it doesn't stay in order.
Sorry, I didn't comment earlier as I have been busy with my last two days of college coming up but I don't do cardistry that much but I will have to try to learn this! Awesome video as always! Keep it up! #Roadto6K!
*picks up deck and tries to follow along *drops cards everywhere
*Me all the time*
same
Couldn’t be Me every time 💀

Tbh I mastered the game of 52 cadd pickup this way

Under-rated comment. I literally just went through this list as my starter set and it's a great setup
Same
You articulated the steps very clearly & appropriately synced them with your actions. I might even go head and listen w actual cards in my hands

Probably the easiet chardestry ive seen, looks amazing too, definelty worth learning

Thanks Real V for picking up the slack for Card Mechanic.
You rock! 😎
"ahfasuha" at 3:23 really was truly an impressiv inside how cardistry works
This helped me create my own move- The Splitting Cruise. Thanks for the help!

@@foxkellan2187 is it binded in any of your accounts? If so, you can use those as a security measure to update your forgotten password
finally a trick I can sort of half do. Thx for making the video from your angle it really helps a lot definitely for a beginner❤
studying 2 handed cuts for like 1 or 2 days and this one is the easiest for me
i made it first try

How have things been on your journey?
@@ShadowKingpin It's a New world
this is one of the first cuts i ever learned and i love it

Thank you very much for the tutorial it is easy and I could not do the Sybil cut but I could do this! You got a new sub!
Thank you, so so much for these free tutorials, man!

♠️♥️Nice Flourish. I will Surely learn that . Thanks and Stay Safe♦️♣️
Thanks man!!
When I was learning sybil cut,
I actually messed up my deck
cause I actually done these similar cut thing.
Great memories!!
Awesomely illustrated!!
Always fun messing up and coming up with your own stuff!
Loved your tutorial
Btw:I am 15 yes old and I learned this in 5 minutes
ok
That's crazy cause the video is 7 mins
Cool flourish! I m definitely gonna learn it today!
That is awesome! Would love to know how it turns out!
I've low key never heard, experienced nor imagined this
Damn man!!! That looked 👍🏼 good! Keep the good content up!!
Thank you!!

Both fantastic names! Would love to see it!
@@CardMechanic Sure!!
Mahn I rewind the blabber a dozen times fr no reason...😂❤️
I saw one similar like this before and it was awesome XD

Great tutorial!
Thanks man
This is very easy trick and looks so cool
Your explanation is on point
Just got it, Thanks a lot !!!!

Thank you! And absolutely!
I love it and great video as always
Thank you so much 😀
really easy and nice flourish!
This looked so effortless😎
The initial practicing was anything but effortless haha
My hands are to small to even spin the cards.
Fun little cut but might want to modify that closing “book” portion of the move slightly as it is almost a false cut until that moment.
Hi I was just wondering if you could suggest a few flourishes and card tricks I could try because I have recently started learning card tricks and I am finding hard to do them because im only a kid my hands aren’t big enough to do most of the tricks. Do you have any suggestions
I love your cards😭😭
I think for the 2nd last move is better to do the "endless" cut move over the boring swing cut followed by your book ending
My deck keeps landing weirdly! I've done this twice, making sure to follow every step, but a few cards keep getting mixed into different suits and it doesn't stay in order.
Sick stuff I been practicing about a year now
Now this is a tutorial 👌👌
Very good tutorial 🙏☺️
Hey Very nice Flourish I learn it and a want to make a German Tutorial to that on my channel is this OK for you 🤔
this is easier than I thought
My custom cards are perfect for this
I'm having a really hard time not dropping cards when pivoting the middle packet over the left packet. any tips?
I guess I'm a little late, but all I can say is practice practice practice, try going smooth first, instead of fast, slow is smooth, smooth is fast
nice ta meet ya cardmechanic names fernando by the way thanks for the tutorial & wishing your mother a happy mother day
Nice to meet you! Happy Mother's day!
I exercised this for 2 days but the left part of the deck keeps falling when I try to take out the middle deck, can you give me some tips plz😢
Fantastic tutorial 😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much 😀

No worries! Always a pleasure to have you comment! Good luck with your last days!
Hello what book for magicians/cardistry do you recommend to read?
For a 3 yr old tutorial this is really good
My cards have almost zero friction so everytym i try to do a quick move, card slips...i am rookie...need help
Remember guys it's "BEGINERS" cardistry🙁😕😑
What are the name of the cards I need some asap
They are superfly
@@CardMechanic cool thx
Nice tutorial, but I guess I just can’t do it. I am visually dyslexic. A year of practicing and I just can’t get any moves right.
Is this harder than Sybil?
Feels about the same
I did the first 4 steps easly and I was so surprised I drop the deck bruh
I got really little gremlin hands so its really hard for me 🙃
Man this took me 45 seconds to do then took me a few mins to memorize then will prolly take me a few hours to speed up.
Honestly, as a beginner, i do not see this as a beginner card trick (it still looks pretty cool tho) :)
Hey can u teach the werm
Already did! Somewhere on my channel!
i was the 1000nth like exactly
Wow
That so simple
Quickbook nice name
Name was definitely determined well before making the video...
@@CardMechanic 🤣 i know
1st
I did this i found a new move called. Falling cards
This is called the stag for anyone actually wondering
the amount of finger strength tho
If you don’t do the swing cut and go straight to the book part it becomes a false cut 😂
i am left handed and its mutch harder to do it from video
Boy mine ain't quickbook mine it's slowbook
5:47 - Quick Runthrough
It's a cool trick, but a poor way to shuffle cards. The middle stack basically ends up exactly where it started.
4:06
me w dry ass hands 😡🤦🏽♂️
Being left handed
Do the same thing with the other hand
I'm so bad at cardistry
We all have to start somewhere!
my hands are way too small for this
Lol same
superfly
Ảo đẫy
youtube's flashing icon brought me here, it is rude and annoying and I do not appreciate it.
Clearly you are not double jointed..
this is not for beginners haha good video tho
Yeah right. 'begginer' bro this is like a cheap version of the five faces of Sybil
For those of you who aren't suffering the burdens of operating under the capacity of half a braincell, skip to 5:47
Are you satisfied with life as a virgin? (No, overweight knee-boobs don't count)
Awesome tutorial!
