I love you man! I search the whole web for a couple of months to get an answer on wiring for my 2012 Mopar, unrelated video of yours, but you answer my question ❤
Its holding up just fine. Its been around 3 years since I painted them so I can't remember what type of paint I used, I think it was a flat black from autozone. I didn't do glossy paint since the wrap I used was more on the flat side
The easiest thing to do would be to buy a bumper without the parking sensor holes and when you buy the bottom grille, there is also one without the hole for the radar sensor. You would also need the fog light bezels and the two inserts that go right below the headlights.
The passenger one on ebay looks like it's sold out but they have it here: www.carparts.com/details/Chrysler/300/Replacement/Bumper_Trim/2013/RECP016101.html?TID=gglpla&origin=&gclid=Cj0KCQjw78yFBhCZARIsAOxgSx1Ih0c9q9zC_gMm_R8Bmqq4nVl-NcgEI267mOLT8qp5Tx2y37uRgAkaAibnEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Hey, ive recently came across this video. Srt8 acc sensors are over $1,000 from what i can find. Do you know what issues could happen if I just drilled new holes and moved it over instead of getting a new sensor?
The SRT sensor bracket sits at a different angle than the non SRT so you could technically just drill the holes and move it over to the spot it needs to be in but it will be facing "slightly" towards the right or left and not straight ahead
Did you ever find out if you have to recalibrate the FCW sensor when you relocate it slightly more to the center? I’m wanting to do this conversion on my 2012 300c, and I’d love to just modify the current sensor(drill new holes) and reuse without having to take it to Chrysler..
It does have to be recalibrated. I still haven't gotten mine done but I called the dealership and they quoted me between 400 and 500 bucks which seemed a bit extreme to me. If I get mine recalibrated I will make a video on how that went.
I actually used one each and just kept stretching it until it started to tear. I did it that way since the halos covered it and you can't see the torn part. But the correct way would be to lay a small insert in the inner part and then another one on the outside part.
Hey man! i returned back to this video, i was able to completely put on every single part listed in this video, but i do need help with the cruise control sensor, did you by chance recalibrate the sensor? and if so, how did you do it? its giving me a light on the dash about the sensor.
I haven't taken it to the dealer yet. I rarely drive the car now so it hasn't really been on my to do list anymore. But when I called they estimated 300 to 500. They said it could be that much because if they need to adjust the position of the sensor they might need to remove the bumper. It was a bit high in my opinion. But you can call your local Chrysler dealer and see what kind of price they give you.
@@MotorheadATX oooh okay, thank you. I thought it was something we can do ourselves, but i really appreciate it! The car looks amazing now, thanks to your video! only thing to do now is recalibrate the sensor and it'll be good to go!

I think the sensor itself is the same from 2012 to 2016. The thing that is different is the bracket that's its mounted to. You're gonna have to find a bracket from a 2012 to 2014 srt8 which are rare and hard to find. I looked for a few weeks until I finally found one.
