I think the use of might as well is right, but there are some mistakes in your sentence. It should be "I don't like my job, but there's a lot of unemployment in Colombia, so I might as well keep it"
Viendo ejemplos de su uso,lo comparo con una expresion en el lenguaje maxicano cuando decimos "Ya ni modo". "Ni modo", "pues ya que", no es literal la traducción pero se usan mas o menos en el sentido de might as well.
