  • Welcome back! As of 12:00 today, I’m spending my lunch break uploading this video. This trip is about the Express section on Route 104. This only occurs on weekends. The route starts at West Kendall Transit Terminal, goes on SW 88 St until SW 167 Ave. It takes a left from there, continues past the Kendall Square complex, and takes its last turn onto SW 104 St. At Hammocks Blvd, the route is its normal local service. Route 204 operates Local west of the Transit Terminal normally. Since 204 is not running anymore, those stops are there for cars to pass and people to sit there for an hour only to notice they’re not running anymore. For one of the stops, I pre-recorded a few months ago for a now defunct video for action in suburbia. I was also on different buses for this video. The first was 02198 and for the rest of the video, 5171 was taken. Thanks for watching a limited trip through Miami’s suburbia. My next Transit Shorts™ video will be at the Coral Reef Drive & Florida’s Turnpike Park and Ride Stop. (This was pre-recorded as well). Also worth noting, this route, (along with routes like 87) is known for having slow drivers. My explanation/theory is that since the timetable allows a whole hour between buses, drivers can do whatever they want in that timeframe. For me, slow drivers are annoying, but are better than nothing at times when I’m tired travelling to and from my filming grounds.
