Always appreciate your meta decks videos Clark! The small details with putting tabs/time stamps are great and shows how much effort you put in in these videos. Keep the great and quality work up!
Mech rogue is the most fun and Oonga Boonga a deck can be, been playing it since thursday and keeping a 65% WR with It, also looking foward to learn how to pilot Nature Shaman properly
Yeah yeah, I'm still sorry for the mommy druid, but due to me having tried the priest version of it with ridiculous swing turns and fun involved myself I'm already looking forward to the storm giants video(s) :-D Love that stuff here - ... ... ... almost as you asked :-P
Good stuff. New to your channel and just subscribed. I also watch Zeddy, Chump, Old Guardian, Hobbes, and sometime Dane (though I don't care much about Wild format). I'm going to try out Nature Shaman and some of the Giants decks. I've also had A LOT of fun with Automaton Priest. It's fairly easy once Svalna is out to play Ra-den and immediately kill it to make some very large boards. I had a mirror match where I discovered a Nathanos, which I used to get another Ra-den for two more enormous boards.
Why wouldn't it be? The interaction is working as intended. You can endless forge the card, and because of Melted Maker's ability to copy whatever you forge, it makes sense.
It's good at the lower ranks, but Warlock is getting outclassed by the decks in Top Legend. If you're not in Diamond yet, it's a good idea to craft it if your goal is to win
It can create a huge swing if you summon a second Voltron with can't be targeted by spells and then just double ability. Unless your opponent has solid board removal it's almost a guaranteed win.
It's not 100% required, but it's super useful. One of it's abilities is your Nature spells cost 1 mana less, so you can use it to help you jam all your Nature spells to deliver insane OTK combos. Especially when you set it up with Flash of Lightning the turn before, it's really useful to discount 3 mana spells to 1 mana, even 0 mana.
I still think control priest is a great deck and maybe not top tier since you can get killed by OTKs like the Shaman or Sif however you'll be surprised how well it deals with everything else. Including mech rogue because you have so much silence and destroy units for low mana.
Control Priest will be a good deck once the meta develops. The issue with control decks at the beginning of expansions is knowing what cards to include. Case and point. Speaker Stomper is starting to see play in Priest as a way to counter Sif Mage and Nature Shaman OTKs. You can't control what you can't predict, so control decks will get stronger as the meta settles.
I find inzah too expensive for nature shaman. Turn five is one of our pivotal turns, the games where you find the time to play inzah on 5 were already won. The rest of the time she remains unplayed. im willing to wager her played win rate is higher than her drawn win rate. but her played winrate is lower than the decks winrate Things from below is a great fighting tool for nature shaman because of chisel.
The reason I'm not enjoying the meta as much it's because of OTK decks. Giant rogue mechs I can deal with, it's the fairest of the bunch in my opinion, but having 30 health and board pressure mean absolutely nothing is just frustrating. I'm trying to punch through legend for the first time, so I don't have the bonus stars for the D5 bracket, playing Curse Warlock that was sitting for me at 76% winrate, I got to D1 2 stars. Then I faced three Sif mages in a row that killed me from full health on turn 10 and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. So those three games set me back the entire morning basically, zero progress, because of interactions I have absolutely no control over. At least with Mech rogue you can try to tempo things early to contest every mech they try to develop, to a point in which they can't stick their replicating mech anymore. Druid you can remove their boards, scam warlock you can use silences and removal to deal with their scams. But OTK? That's the absolute worst design choice of the game. If it were up to me I'd kill both OTK decks: Bioluminescence no longer a Nature spell; Sif with the same battlecry as Silvermoon Arcanist (your spells can't target heroes this turn). These three decks are literal poison to the current meta.
@@Max-zs6ur when in between Sif Mages and Control Priests, so I win against OTK and lose to everything else? That's not a viable solution. If control priest wasn't a thing then yeah, I'd definitely be piloting a blood DK, but since it's unwinnable against that ungodly deck it's not an option.
Edit: Also, Blood DK is highly disfavored against Hound Hunter too. So you need to run a deck that is heavily disfavored by the entire meta surrounding it just to stop ONE of the OTK decks? Because Blood DK also cannot win against OTK shaman, since the shaman can deal over 80 damage in a combo.
You're playing one of the most annoying decks around and have the audacity to complain about sif? Fuck curses man, that is way less interactive and disheartening to lose to, so you're getting what you deserve imo
Damn... This is a hard question to answer. I want to say craft the Titan because he's super cool, but I have to say craft Inzah. The mana cheat is too important. It's a card that can really help your OTK turn by discounting Nature Overload cards by 1 already. Golganneth is super sweet as a draw tool or AoE/heal option, but I have won more games by coining Inzah on Turn 4 than I have with Golganneth clears. But when you can, you definitely want both.
It's just to show the difference between what's seeing play in legend, versus what's seeing play on the way to legend. You can definitely play mech Rogue and Sif Mage to hit legend.
you definitely want to run two 7 mana spells in sif mage instead of one molten rune and finley. i've lost way too many games because sif was in last 3-5 cards of the deck, and elementals give you another win con and a lot of time. also i see pocket train and meati running norgannon, but i still prefer the 5 mana naga

Storm giant priest is absolutely absurd and fun, thank you kindly.

Great work! I hadn't heard of you previously, but now I'm a subscriber.
Just got a 12 win streak with that hunter deck and I'm having a blast. Liked the video
12 win streak sure at silver rang lol...
Like ur enthusiasm Clark.😊

Dunno why but i 85 % encounter mech rogue decks. Try to make some unusual decks work but having a hard time against these metaslaves lol
Nice helpful video, loving the expansion!
CrushClaw Enforcer in shaman is underrated. It can draw Flowrider, Teacher, And Azshara.
Maybe I'll try that out instead of famished fool. My favorite pet card in it has been taelan to curve into Golganneth
