Hi Dave, I would like to thank you for your educational videos and pdfs, I love them, they are very inspiring. I have been working on them for a few months when I discovered your music that I listen to frequently. Also comment that I think it is very important that musicians disclose colors such as majors and minors 6, as well as the minor keys that are so obsolete in current popular music.
great content but how did you manage to record it so well ? Your microphone does not seem to have any problems whatsoever with the difference in the level of the spoken word and the level of the saxophone playing. I keep running in to "Level trouble" whenever I try to record something like this for my students. Any tips on that ?
Good question! I recorded it with plenty of headroom at a fixed level (LDC above my head) then automated the audio. There is about 14dB level difference between the voice & the sax.

Thank you, Gerardo, your comments are much appreciated!
Just what I needed as I'm working on minor 2-5-1s. Thanks a ton! I love your playing. Long time follower of your channel, btw.
Much appreciated, thank you!
