it's not disgusting!!!! here in Spain we have a similar sweet dish called "Rice with Milk" (Arroz con Leche) which is basically like a pudding/soup of rice with milk, sugar, maybe son sweetener like vanilla actually, and cinnamon on top of the soup, which when mixed will give it it's awesome taste!! so you basically did that and it's a really good dessert
