    Love that it's 5 years instead of the usual 30 days to 3 months. It takes time to learn things, and that's alright!

      А где Вы видите то, что она училась подтягиваться и отжиматься несколько лет?
      Вы не видите ее стойку,например и как ее выполнение становилось все лучше и лучше, как и физическая форма?
      Любопытно было бы взглянуть на Ваши подтягивания, отжимания и особенно стойку на руках

      @@E620SE what would you say is average, on a measurable scale?

    • @E620SE
      @E620SE 11 месяцев назад +7

      @@IzkAndrew very individual. For most women learning the more advanced calisthenics stuff will most likely take years than months.
      But as I said, too individual. If you start from zero, it will be years in my opinion/experience.

    • @IzkAndrew
      @IzkAndrew 11 месяцев назад +1

      @E620SE I think there's some factors to consider, though. One being the persons drive and motivation. Their work ethic and dieting. As well as doing the proper progressions. And of course the body weight/ bfp that the person is starting with. Even if the person is at a high bfp and weight, if they are dieting correctly, using proper techniques and progressions. It really should take a couple of months to learn a muscle up. As far as advanced calisthenics, definitely up to a year or more

I always feel defeated about how slow my progress is, which only slows it more as I'm demotivated. Seeing the progress over years is always a wonderful reminder that it doesn't matter if I have to take my time, that's better than giving up

    I love Lisa's workouts. She just dives straight in and they're so quick and easy to follow.
    As a longtime long distance runner I was surprised to find despite being able to run 5k easily, I was getting out of breath just doing the beginner workouts.
    I've only been doing them for about 2-3 weeks now, I'm seeing benefits in my posture, core strength, running and walking.
    And I'm enjoying them much more than doing weights.
    I'm getting close to being able to see my six pack for the first time since I was a teenager.
    Lisa rocks. Go girl

    • @WindFeuer21
      @WindFeuer21 6 месяцев назад

      when I started doing pull ups i was really discouraged, i could only do 1-2 reps. I almost lost my motivation.
      I started again from scratch focusing on slow negatives, hang, inclines and horizontal rows, I did a lot of rows. Now, after 7 months of regular training, I reached 5 reps. Not my actual goal, but still a big improvement. This helped me regaining a bit of self esteem .
      Currently I'm using set of 3-4 reps to help tendons to keep up with muscles.
      Pull ups are advanced if compared with push ups or planks (etc) Don't be discouraged!
      Every workout session it's a small block, you need a lot of them to build something big :)
      Ps funny thing: I introduced a bit of yoga in my calisthenics workout :D
