@@IzkAndrew very individual. For most women learning the more advanced calisthenics stuff will most likely take years than months. But as I said, too individual. If you start from zero, it will be years in my opinion/experience.
@E620SE I think there's some factors to consider, though. One being the persons drive and motivation. Their work ethic and dieting. As well as doing the proper progressions. And of course the body weight/ bfp that the person is starting with. Even if the person is at a high bfp and weight, if they are dieting correctly, using proper techniques and progressions. It really should take a couple of months to learn a muscle up. As far as advanced calisthenics, definitely up to a year or more
David goggins is not motivating to me at all. Hes so angry in his demeanor. Makes it feel like if i follow his advice ill be a miserable person who only had exercise to keep him sane.
More than anything, have a pull up bar at home. and a kettle bell. That way when you feel lazy you have no excuse. My pull up bar is in my bathroom. Thats the rule. if i use the restroom i have to pay the entry fee
Very inspiring. I’m 46 and have loved strictly calisthenics work outs for years, I am very flexible and receive compliments and stares because it actually does transform your body ❤
Omy IS this lady in her 50's? How can one train to do this? SO MUCH has happened to me in the last 3 years - I've lost my balance, equilibrium, e.t.c. i REALLY NEED this. How to find a place to start?🤔😔🙏
As a man who doesn't really build strength as easily as most guys this is super encouraging to see. I always feel defeated about how slow my progress is, which only slows it more as I'm demotivated. Seeing the progress over years is always a wonderful reminder that it doesn't matter if I have to take my time, that's better than giving up
У неё долгое время ничего не получалось и когда она подключила анаболические стероиды всё пошло куда быстрей. Поэтому не нужно равняться на этих людей из интернета.
Wow. It can be done. Starting point, effort, consistency, constant improvement. Never quite reaching your "goal", but always striving for it. Congratulations.
Just starting and feeling overwhelmed at how difficult seemingly simple movements should be. This is reassuring to see that I just need consistency and patience.
Yes!!! You go Woman! Motivation for me to get myself on track. Food is tough for me. I overeat, graze way too much. I have lost weight a few times, but I always think about food. It's time for me to suck it up and do it again. Thanks for this video!
I love this. 5 years is realistic. Sometimes you may not even think you're progressing, but when you look back... wow. And never giving up. The mind can be our biggest enemy when we want quick results! You go girl, you're inspirational ❤
Nice! Way to go! I remember I started out using a ton of weight on the assisted pull up and dip stations. Now I am doing weighted calisthenics with 45+ lbs. The hard work pays off. So fun and rewarding seeing how you improve over time
Ihre Ausstrahlung nach nur einem Jahr ist, als wäre eine neue Frau geboren dieses Training war das, was sie brauchte man kann sehen das sie anfangs sehr unzufrieden mit sich war sie verdient größten Respekt.
I love Lisa's workouts. She just dives straight in and they're so quick and easy to follow. As a longtime long distance runner I was surprised to find despite being able to run 5k easily, I was getting out of breath just doing the beginner workouts. I've only been doing them for about 2-3 weeks now, I'm seeing benefits in my posture, core strength, running and walking. And I'm enjoying them much more than doing weights. I'm getting close to being able to see my six pack for the first time since I was a teenager. Lisa rocks. Go girl
Eso me pasa. Hace unos meses no podía hacer ni media lagartija. Ahora hago 3 seguidas. Es un gran logro para mí. Seguiré hasta llegar a hacer 50 de corrido.💪😼
Amazing! The FACT that you produced results within a fuc*in YEAR is AMAZING!!!! For YOU!!! And u have A STRONG resolve BECAUSE as a Female you all CONSTANTLY produce and have a HIGHER water disposition in your body's which can be a deterrence but a NECESSARY one. You're AMAZING!!! Keep fucking shit UP and ALWAYS MOVING FORWARD till your body loses LIFE. You're In IT!!!!
Thank you for the reality check, I began yoga earlier this and was recently introducing pull ups to my routine. Feeling discouraged by the lack of progress, but 5-ish years feels much more doable and encouraging.
when I started doing pull ups i was really discouraged, i could only do 1-2 reps. I almost lost my motivation. I started again from scratch focusing on slow negatives, hang, inclines and horizontal rows, I did a lot of rows. Now, after 7 months of regular training, I reached 5 reps. Not my actual goal, but still a big improvement. This helped me regaining a bit of self esteem . Currently I'm using set of 3-4 reps to help tendons to keep up with muscles. Pull ups are advanced if compared with push ups or planks (etc) Don't be discouraged! Every workout session it's a small block, you need a lot of them to build something big :) Ps funny thing: I introduced a bit of yoga in my calisthenics workout :D
Yes! Change and strength building takes TIME...I have been doing pole/working out for almost 2 years now (going from almost no strength) and only now can I really lift my body weight off the ground and am starting to do full push-ups and pull-ups...It really takes a long time and dedication.
That's amazing achievement and like someone already commented, it's great that you've been REAL in saying it took 5 years to get there. Not 3 months or less, as a lot of others like to make out.
I am surprised by your motivation and consistency. I want to start with calisthenics too and you have just given me tremendous motivation. Keep doing it. Don't settle for just going to the gym. Train everything. Don't give up.
Very inspiring! I am an Ironman triathlete and had a very rough year between my young kid being in the hospital for a cardiac issue for 4 months and my husband losing his 5 year, extremely difficult cancer battle. (And, having to work 100 hours a week.) I stopped working out and feel weak. (Plus, I am now in my 50s.) Needed to see this. Change is possible. Nice work!
Damn. That is impressive. Reminds me of one of my favorite sayings-"People overestimate what they can accomplish in a day and underestimate what they can accomplish in a year" (or five)
Woooow!!! Este es el mejor video motivacional, sin maquillaje y con el verdadero tiempo de esfuerzo, no se alcanza esa fuerza en 6 meses lleva años!! Gracias por la honestidad
The other thing to note about this 5 year transition is you progress from flabby to fit! Calisthenics can do wonders! And I am sure you watch what you eat as well. You rock girl!
The part when you’re in a blue hoodie and black tights, doing a squatted handstand, with the two men baffled and the title “fitness just got serious” written on the wall, is just so golden to me😭😂❤️👏
Love that it's 5 years instead of the usual 30 days to 3 months. It takes time to learn things, and that's alright!

Thanks for this, I needed the extra encouragement.

Couldn’t do 2 pulls about 6 months ago, now doing 10-12 reps a couple sets per day
