@@CamMarz I put a Z06 intake with one of the attack blue filters on my LS3 but I was thinking about picking up one of these Airaids… not sure it would actually gain anything tho
I have yet to see an independent a/b Dyno test to prove any power advantage to aftermarket intake. Personally I do not think it's worth it. Every auto mfg is under great pressure to squeeze out all of the efficiency they can for CAFE numbers and their engineers are better.
Factory intakes are definitely still efficient, but aftermarket ones still do squeeze out a little more. There are several Dyno videos breaking that down on RUclips. I don't think it's a super necessary upgrade though, factory ones will work pretty well!
You give the install a 4 out of 8, had you familiarized yourself with the install instructions first, you wouldn't have had any trouble. So, put that 4 out of 8 on yourself.
Yup, I just purchase this one as well due to good pricing and daily driving my in WA. It can get pretty puddly where I live
Hey man, thanks for your help I just installed this today in my C6. Pretty straight forward but your advice saved me some time, thanks!! 😎
This guy complains a lot considering he has a stang & a vette & is able to afford the extras. Be thankful for what it is my friend
I had a vararam on my g8 and didnt care for it much. I am waiting on my first c6z mods. Cool car man.
C6Z, fantastic choice man!
I think it’s better to put a heat sheild to prevent hot air to the filter .. you will lose some hp when the engine become hot I think
Leftovers bolts lol send it sometimes they send too much bolts lol but 🔥 🔥
Exactly hahaha
I’m here to support daddy
MMMMM Whats up Mikey :)
🤣🤣🤣
why would you drive into a puddle in the corvette??
I mean, good point 🤣
Why are c6 intakes so quiet ? The bmw ones sound like turbos. Kinda jealous
Corvettes are quiet stock. They're sports cars, not muscle cars.
@@jayferrante1434 i dont really get your point here, isn't a BMW a sports car too?
Did you move?
I did yeah LMAO
Did you notice any improvement at all in throttle response with this intake?
Maybe by the seat of my pants SLIGHTLY, feels like there's a tad bit more under the torque curve. Tune definitely tho

I’ll never buy an airaid ever again. Ridiculous trying to get it in.

@@CamMarz I think it's car guys wanting to do setting simple to show they are car guys

Fair enough, but some of the parts were a little goofy for my liking still
You are such a goober. Left over bolts? No problem. If it works without them they probably were not needed anyway.
😂
