"Wearing black just for a change" XD I love how you include your children in a healthy way. A lot of vlogger families have been found to overly-exploit their kids or even push their boundaries on purpose. I like how you occasionally include them without it being too much or at any detriment to them.
Severine is super cute, especially when you hand her a toy and ask what it is.
Omg her little "bye-bye" at the end!! I nearly died from how cute she is!!
Yeah her bye at the end she is super cute ❤
Not only do we not have toast racks in the USA I’ve never even heard of a toast rack 😂
My mind is SO blown 🤯
Can confirm, never heard of one before now either 🤣
same. some people might but also another american who's never even heard of it.
I had never heard of it before either 😅 but now I'm pretty sure I need one. I don't always want the butter to pool and melt. I'm fascinated lol
I think toast racks is only a thing where she lives, because I live in brazil and we also never heard about toast racks 😂
I love that you speak to your children like any other person 🥰 my mum never ever “baby talked” us or was patronising. She has made 5 very independent and strong willed individuals, that appreciate all the cool dark shit 🖤🌙
absolutely loved you always, seeing you as a mother is such a gift to this world
Your daughter is ADORABLE!!! Wanted to let you know as a U.S. Citizen, we do not have upright toast racks! 🖤
Severine is definitely a scene stealer.
things i had no clue i needed in my life: severine's commentary and cameo
I’ve been a silent subscriber since I was 15 and now I’m 23. Your videos have always been such a comfort for me. I’m happy to see life has been treating you well ☺️
Severine what's this?
👶 a lion!!
what's the lion say?
Severine: 🦅🦅🦅
OMG she's so cuuuteee 😍😍💖
I am NOT a kid person whatsoever but for some reason i love your little babies so much i would watch Severine's Adventures all day.
Your little Serverine is the most adorable little girl EVER xx
I think so but I might be slightly biased 😛
@@itisblackfriday haha not at all, she's gorgeous, very clever to :)
Remebering watching you as a teen and now seeing you with children especially with little miss Severine who certainly brighten up my day!
I absolutely LOVE Severine! She is an absolute sweetheart! 🖤🖤🖤
Wee Severine is an absolute darling ❤ Yes, please, to more second-hand shopping vlogs 😊 Any time spent looking in these shops is always enjoyable. A few second-hand clothes shopping vlogs would be fab 🖤
I love how she interacts with her daughter 🖤
Severine's little waves 🖤 she looked ready to launch herself at the sight of those toys in the first shop.
Also--no toast racks in the US, not that I know of. Didn't even know that was a thing until this video so thanks for teaching me something new haha.
Yes to more vids, a clothes shopping one would be nice!
from the US as well (the south specifically) & had no idea toast racks are a thing either 😅
Please use the vintage glassware and tableware for decoration only. That old stuff is loaded with lead. It's in everything: the glass, the glaze, the pattern, everything.
I've been a subscriber for years and your videos are such a comfort watch to me. Thank you for sharing this shopping trip. I hope Severine feels better soon, she is a beautiful little girl!
An antique toast rack would be fun for storing eyeshadow palettes
i am american and i literally learned about toast racks yesterday. personally, I don't make enough toast, nor does it sit long enough for me to see one nessicary for me, but I can definitely see the usefulness of it especially for families who like to have sit down breakfasts!
These videos are so nice because it feels like I’m just hanging out and thrifting with a friend 🖤
Also, can confirm no toast racks here in the US.
Black Friday- American Goth brother here. Confirming. We did have toast racks back in the 1950s. But they fell out of favor. If I had only known you love teacups as much as I do- I'm crazy for them. Your video brought tears to my eyes as looking at the street shots. Memories flooded back. I was staying with friends who live in Mount Taranaki, got to see the whole mountain on a cloudless day- bliss. And your right 30NZD for a set of glasses is insane.
Loved seeing Severine out with you thrift shopping - one of my favorite outings. She's so cute naming all the different things and I absolutely loved the little bye-bye at the end. You've also inspired me to look into toast racks and now I'm looking for one. If I find a nice one, I might become one of the only U.S. citizens to have one.
Ooh Severines little munchkin voice! 🫀🦇
Warms my little black heart! 🖤🫀🖤🫀
Awww…Severin is so cute, and I’m not even a kid person but she is seriously adorable 🖤
Your little lady flipped my day right around. She gave my soul a smile.
Your daughter is absolutely precious! I've always loved second hand shops. Always an adventure to find wonderful finds there
Toast racks aren't super common in the US, but I think they used to be. My grandmother got one in a set of silver trays and such for a wedding gift back in the 50s
I have followed you for years and I'm now a mama that is obsessed with thrifting too. Severine is such a smart and lovely little gem 😊 I hope to see more of the 2 of you thrifting!
The 'bye bye' at the end 🥹 adorable 💜
Little Severine is growing up so quick. She is so smart. My daughter just turned two last month, and it so interesting to watch them progress. Hope Severine is feeling better! 🖤
Also. US here (south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)...toast racks are definitely not common. Neat little thing to have, I suppose though.
What a beautiful and unique childhood your little ones are having ❤. You are a fantastic mom!
Toast racks in silver were a thing in the 1860's and 1870's in America among the upper classes and hotels. 1920's the American pop up toaster took over and households started pulling the toast straight to the plate. Ceramic Toast holders were a novelty but if you had a grandmother who entertained she would have one. By the 1950's they started to faded out and households started using them for paper napkin holders or to prop up small kitchen saucers. Americans then forgot what a toast rack was.
Most Americans like soggy buttery toast. So now it get buttered heavy on one side, placed on a plate with dry side out and butter side inwards so the steam melts and soaks the toast. Restaurants and hotels now serve toast this way.
😊 🍞
I am loving these second hand shops I love going into these kinds of shops just to have a rummage around cause you can find anything.
I hope Severine the best, hope she gets better. Bless her she is so sweet. Sending love to you and your family 🖤
Correct - Americans do not use toast racks. Even in really fancy places for breakfast or brunch the toast is served either on a separate place or piled up on your main plate. We don't know how to be classy 🥴
It looks like a toast rack would be a pain to clean, tbf.
Toast gets soggy that way. You can put the rack in the oven to keep warm
Not correct, people use them, they are not popular, that’s all
Severine is getting so big!!! She is such a dolly girl, and so stinking smart!! I love these outings with you!! I don't have many thrift options near me, so I love going vicariously lol. 🖤🖤🖤
Severine must be one of the most cute kids ive seen ever.
Your daughter is adorable and so much character ✨🫶🏼❤️🫶🏼✨
Your daughter is so sweet and just a little doll. I love seeing you go shopping together. It's lovely of you to allow her to choose what she likes. And yes, I would love to see more of these types of videos.❤❤❤
Oh, and yes, we don't have toast racks, but, I wish we had a truly classy and elegant way to serve toast.
What a nice video! It's great to see second-hand stuff in such a positive light and for the differences in items, such as the china, to be included. Severine's coming along smashing as well and she's growing up quickly. Thank you for taking us all on this shopping trip with you both!
Severine's buh bye was adorable 😭
The silver plater with the inscription on it is definitely something I would have gotten, I love the old tarnished silver dishweares!
And no we do not have toast racks in the US, however, that one in the shop would have been another one I would love to have!
Same! But I have waaayy too many silver trays already!
Severine is just a doll! Cutest lil girl ever
I have the same lamb chop for my kitty😊
Hope she’s gonna be okay 😞
Yeah it's true I can NEVER find silver-plate toast racks in antique or thrift stores here. I love them because they make me feel fancy LOL
What a sweet little girl Severine is! I love her little voice. Pure happiness!
She does have a really sweet soft voice ☺️
I loooooove the second-hand shopping videos with your soft spoken voice - thank you 🖤
So nice to see you and your adorable little batling again 💜. She’s so sweet. I always enjoy these types of videos and am constantly looking for gothy things you might find. Getting things to fit is also fun. I’m glad you found a few items to enjoy 💜🦇
Severine is a little angel! ❤
Severine is the cutest and she's so smart!!! Also I love these types of vlogs! Please keep doing them!
A clothing one would be great! I think a toast rack would be something you'd see more with British and Australian households. Is it just me or are thrift shops climbing in price?
I love Severine and your’s day out volg I love the second hand shopping please make these a regular weekly thing!
If there are any toast racks in America I have never heard of one and have been here all my life. Wow! There are so many beautiful things in the stores there. In the mid southern states, our thrift stores are always bare. They must be selling everything on ebay or something. Severine is a little darling the way she said and waved good bye. I do hope she is doing much much better. Thank you for the video!
The baby roar made my heart explode ❤
Severine is such a doll baby!!
"what does a lion say?" proceeds to quietly scream 😂😂
Severine is absolutely adorable! Such a little beauty and I love these little outing adventures.
Its amazing how much Severine had grown! Still remembered when you announced her birth🖤 she's a beautiful lady
Severine is so adorable! It’s obvious your a good Momma because she is so sweet and well behaved while your in the shops. I can confirm we do not have (at least I have never seen one) toast racks in the US. Are they used to just hold toast or how are they used?
Legitimately cannot handle how cute Severine is. Her little smile!
Girl, you're right we don't have a toast rack lol! I have heard of them and that was the first time I saw one. However (now sure if this counts) I did see an old fashion toaster from before the 20's I think it was. an acquaintance of mine repaired it and got it in working condition it toasts the bread and then when it's down it opens into a toast rack
Cool!
“a bat, the bat” was so cute. ❤
missing the livestreams that just play your old videos, find it very comforting to fall asleep to 🖤
As a Canadian who moved to America; both countries do not have or use toast racks. Severine naming each animal you gave them was simply adorable!
I'm getting my antique booth ready for the Florida goth festival and your video got me in the mood. You always post things perfectly timed
That was sooooo amazing! Severine is so adorable ♥️ ♥️
That was such a fun vlog 🥰 id totally watch if you did more like these!
what a cute little angel she is. i wish her and ur family the best and much love ❤❤
Im happy that severine is ok.. poor baby ❤ we love you lil sev 😢❤❤❤
I'd loooooove to see the clothing 2nd hand shop! Also awww Severine's little byebye at the end.
Thank you for allowing us to come along with you. I love seeing the tea cup sets. I don't know what it is about them.
I had a small shop here in the US I called; "Antiques & More". I was always on the hunt for tea cups & saucers, tea sets, etc... I sold alot as gifts. People would buy the cup/saucer and then told me how they were going to put a piece of jewelry inside the cup to make a special gift. They put gift cards, and even made little fairy gardens in them using a small porcelain fairy. I ended up doing a few like that, and they would sell. People gave those as gifts to people in the hospital and in the senior care centers here. It's a great gift when they can't have flowers. It's something every pretty to look at. Due to Covid and my own health, I had to close my shop...like so many others.
I just wanted to share this with you and everyone so they know you can do alot with thise little tea cups.
Thank you again.
❤☕️❤☕️❤☕️❤
I swear I've never liked babies but Severine just melts my heart 🥹
Yes! Yes to all of it!
i love these vlogs, theyre really fun to watch, id definitely like to see more of them. id also love to see you upcycling these finds that you mentioned, when you get to it, i find that kind of videos fun to watch. also im from europe but ive never heard of a toast rack haha
The "A black notebook. I like it, but I don't think I need it" part made my partner glance over to me, surrounded by dozens of unused pretty notebooks.
Oh to have the restraint 😭.
Same 😭😭😭❤️
3:38 awwwwww she is absolutely precious genuinely getting to big.
"A bat" I DIED. I'm a toddler mum but other people's toddlers 🥹 so cute!
Severine is such a joy. Feels like yesterday you were choosing her name
You're little girl is precious. Such a sweetheart.
I can't abide cold toast, so toast racks didn't seem like a great idea. I'd still buy them in silverplate though, and put my watercolors or postcards in it.
Oh my goodness Severine is too adorable!!
I love thrifting so much I even love watching others thrift, this was a fun video and I have learned some stuff about fine china. also oh please yes a clothing one!
great video and Sev is so adorable 🖤🖤
Severine is sooo sweet ,I love her squeaky voice❤️❤️❤️
had to watch twice for Severine because she’s so adorable 🖤
the expensive op shops are so frustrating honestly! i went to a goodwill recently where everything was soooo expensive, they had a teapot there for $85, like who’s gonna buy that?! and don’t get me started on the thrift stores that put items behind glass which have all been price-checked on ebay 🙄
So happy to see Severine! She's so cute! And Lambchop!
She's sooo adorable💕and you are a great mother.💕
I'm in the USA we don't have toast racks.
First, Severine is adorable!
Second, can confirm that we don't have toast racks here in the US. In fact, I never even heard of them until this video. We're good with just plopping our toast on a plate and calling it a day. Maybe more posh people use them here? But it's definitely not a thing that the average American would use.
Severine is such a cutie patootie!! 🥰🖤
The bye at the end 🥲🥲🥲
Its so cool to see what op shops there are down south, they just recently closed one of my favourite op shops here in Upper Hutt, its been open for longer than I exist im so gutted. Thanks for the lovely video! Your daughter is a cutie! xx 🦇🦇🕷🕷🕸🕸
I haven’t seen your videos in YEARS!!! This is so nice to see you still posting ❤️ you’ve gained an old subscriber back
Welcome back! 😊
I love when Severine talks you flash the word on the screen like when ghost hunting shows hear voices 😂❤️
No toast holders in the USA but I wish I had one.
Severine talks so good!
Ahh I love these second hand store videos, would always love a part 3 if you choose to do so 😊also As someone from the states I personally have never heard or seen a toast rack, seems rather odd 😅
Your daughter is so lovely love hearing her cute noises ! The toast rack “if one wants to store their toast vertically “ of course why not lol all part of a posh table ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I am from the UK and have seen a toaster rack many times x
Can confirm we don't have toast racks. Never even heard of it. I'd imagine it'd cool your toast down too much, and I want it warm! With butter and jam :)
Part 3 please ❤❤❤ i love it
THIS IS TRUE !!!!I had no idea toast racks were a thing . I feel like we don’t eat just plan toast we add so much toppings
