Simply the best!!!!! The way you explain every topic is so clear, effective and relaxing!!!!! Thank you Madam for all your wonderful lessons Giorgia (Italy)
Dear Gill your English sound very good. Finally, after fifteen years learning English language, I understood CH sound an SH sound. Excellent explanation and practice. Thank you and God bless you 🌷🌷🌷
Hello dear Gill, it was wonderful to see you today,I was very happy and I felt very blessed to be able to see you through RUclips, as usual very well documented and patient with your explanation, wow thank you very much for your efforts. Very respectfully Greetings from a Mexican person living in Japan .
Ms. Gill, you are so resourceful! It's great to see how to place our tongues to pronounce the different sounds. Much love from Buenos Aires, Argentina 💕
Thank you so much , adorable Gill !! So cute examples - "old-fashioned train" sound for "ch" and "shshshsh..." for silence warning. Have a pleasant day.
I'm watching the Gill's lessons time by time but during the 7 year approximately. I love here lesson's style and beautiful pronounce so much! So pity that no many English people speak as her(( (😊)
Professor Gill, This lesson on the pronunciation of Ch and Sh is quite interesting ! I am from India. Two of the Indian languages ( Bengali and Hindi ) have Ch and Sh in their alphabets ( Bengali চ স ) ( Hindi च श ) ! Therefore,it is quite easy for us to understand. Thanks,Ma'am Gill ! 😃
For a long time I wasn't aware of the pairing function of H in English. If you take a closer look at it, the H changes the letters the way accents or other letters change them in many other languages, e. g. Czech c/č and s/š, Polish c/ć and s/ś/sz or Hungarian s/sz and c/cs.
A big thanks from india. 🙏🙏🙏🙏You are THE best teacher i have ever met in my life.GOD BLESS YOU WITH LOTS OF HAPPINESS AND GOOD HEALTH. LOOKING FORWARD FOR MORE VIDEOS. 🙏🙏🌹🌹
Always interesting contents. You're really a great teacher. Please Ms Gill, could you explain how to recognise the pronunciation of the "EA" diphthong that changes with different words? E. G. Meadow or Beam Every now and then the "EA" changes the vowel in its pronunciation. Thank you in advance.
Hi - the spelling doesn't always help to know how to pronounce the word. For example the first syllable of "meadow" has a short e sound (as in led), but "beam" has a long eeee sound (as in seem). It's best to check each word via an online dictionary with audio clips, for example the University of Cambridge online dictionary :-)
Thank you very much Gill, it's so interesting and useful channel ...☀️✨💛 welcome to Sicily...here nobody wants to learn English perfectly..i don't know Why 🤷✨☀️ Will see you soon ☀️ have a nice day 💖
