The Difference Between Mercy and Grace (And Why We Need Both) - Jon Keith

Mercy is not getting something that you do deserve, and then grace is getting something that you don't deserve. God actually intended for grace to mean and to be is so much more deep and rich and beautiful. God poured out grace enough for you for each day. He's not surprised by anything you do ever. You know, that never happens. He sees it. He's not sitting in the same time as us. So he's poured it out. He's poured out enough grace for you... for you forever.
Every major character in the scripture, every every one of them, every single one of - every single tool God ever used to reach people, change somebody, even just to have a relationship with. What do you what do you want? Abraham was a liar. David was a killer and a rapist. You know, Moses was a coward. You know, was there like Paul was a murderer and a terrorist? There's just there's too much. Which one do you want? You take your pick. Which one is you? God can cover that. God can take care of you. There's no there's nothing that's too big. There's nothing that's too powerful for God. He's not like, I can't I can't touch that. I can't handle that.
I'm speaking myself, too, because I tell myself that. Like I've just done too much. I just messed up too many times. I actually cannot imagine messing up this many times and someone still looking at me with the same amount of love in their eyes. That doesn't make sense to me. But look at the scriptures. That's another way that God speaks is through the scriptures. Like, look what I did time and time and time and time and time and time and time again.
