Haha that’s my personal car. Got a full video series on it if you’re interested. Bloody love that car 😂😂
I was a ford mechanic in the late 80s, back than most transits had no pas and weren't a nice van to drive, but they were fairly bombproof. I mean you had to be a serious muppit to wreck an engine in one. Nowadays they drive lovley (for a van), but seem to have a constant stream of problems, I know which Id prefer.
Yeah they do drive great!! I believe most the issues could be avoided with proper maintenance
This is the reason, ford went down with the intervall from 150000 miles to 100000 miles (or 6 years instead of 10....)
Yep! This was on 130k miles. I might have one in soon on 70k with a snapped belt!
2.0 or old 2.2 better engine? Wet belt and chain intervals?
Unsure to be honest. I’m not a big Ford man, I don’t mind these 2.0’s tho. Nice and quiet and bags of power
Why do these bloody engines have so much wiring / piping ? It’s ludicrous, had all this crap when I did my wet belts on my C-Max 1.0 Ecoboost, had to take about 3000 photos (no only kidding but took at least 50 step by step & reverted to them when reassembling ) its madness but they are there first a reason I know 😣🤙
These are an absolute doddle and not very complicated in comparison to a VW 6.1 MAR engine!
Oooooooo BX❤
Proper car !!
what was the mileage on the transit ?
140k
