1 Esimese raamatu, Teofilos, ma kirjutasin kõigest sellest, mida Jeesus algusest peale tegi ja õpetas

„Tema elupaik saagu tühermaaks
ja ärgu elagu selles keegi”,
ja
„Tema ülevaatajaamet saagu teisele!”
21 Niisiis peab saama Jeesuse ülestõusmise tunnistajaks koos meiega üks neist meestest, kes on meie hulgas olnud kogu selle aja, mil Issand Jeesus meie juures käis sisse ja välja,
22 alates Johannese ristimisest kuni päevani, mil ta meilt võeti üles.”

30 Et ta oli prohvet ja teadis, et Jumal oli talle vandega tõotanud tema troonile seada istuma järglase ta niuete viljast,
31 siis ta nägi ette ning rääkis Messia ülestõusmisest:
„Ei teda jäeta surmavalda
ega näe ta liha kõdunemist.”
32 Sellesama Jeesuse on Jumal üles äratanud surnuist, meie kõik oleme selle tunnistajad.
33 Et ta nüüd Jumala parema käega on ülendatud, siis ta on saanud Isalt Püha Vaimu, nagu oli tõotatud, ning on selle välja valanud; seda teie nüüd näete ja kuuletegi.
34 Taavet ei ole ju läinud taevasse, aga ta ütleb:
„Issand ütles mu Issandale:
Istu mu paremale käele,
35 kuni ma panen su vaenlased su jalajäriks!”

While Caiaphas played a role in Jesus’ crucifixion, the Bible teaches us that Jesus’ sacrifice was part of God’s redemptive plan from the beginning. Jesus willingly offered Himself as the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world (John 1:29). Why raise a Bronze Serpent?
The bronze serpent was raised in the desert as a sign of healing and obedience for the people of Israel (Numbers 21:8-9). This is the highest claim to make by Jesus, who was, is and will deliver the will of the Father on earth and as it's in heaven.
This is pointing to creations on earth as it's in heaven, that anyone who is willing to follow Jesus, who is the Messiah, will arrive at the new heaven and new earth, the salvation destination where God gathers all the elects to dwell with God for eternity.
We are told that that is our eternal destination where we want to be and the Father, the Son, the Spirit and us will be united in ONE.
The eyes of our hearts are opened to see the eternal destination in perfect unity with the Creator, Redeemer and Lord.
