I find it so hilarious that Monarch, the least tech savy of all of Vtubers, has the most complicated set up. 😂😂

At 20:30 right now, and my tech support tingles are telling me that it might be a RAM issue and not a CPU one. Usually you’ll only have load times like she’s been talking about if your CPU is 100% pinned, and hard, if your disk is super busy, or if your RAM is being eaten by something.
Unless her PC is like, 8-10 years old, or really badly messed up.
Cy Yu is going to need to be there physically one day to fix the problem.

I only have a 3700X and even I have only 1.7½ when OBS-Studio starts but thgen again I have never put it to the test. And yes I hope the manage to convince Monarch to buy a proper PC wich should solve most of these type of problems.

ok so I keep hearing people say that microsoft edge is bad but could anyone explain to me why and what a better option would be?
Somewhat amusingly, that view is outdated. Not because it got better, but because Microsoft gave up and replaced it with Chromium (*not* Chrome), so it uses the same engine as Opera, Brave, etc. (Firefox and Safari have their own engines).
In the Internet Explorer days, the reality is that post-IE6, Microsoft did not manage to release a single spec-compliant browser, which means that about 80% of websites just downloaded a bunch of patches for Internet Explorer instead of trying to work with the melted slag that Microsoft called a browser engine. This meant that in general, IE was buggier than the competition and literally orders of magnitude slower. It was also more vulnerable to malware because of how rarely it got security patches.
Microsoft Edge pre-chromium swap was released purely because IE11’s reputation was literally unrecoverable. Which, if Microsoft had managed to release Edge in a functional state, could have worked. Sadly, they barely managed to get to the starting line (for context, the number one search on Bing was Google) instead of managing to pull of something on the level of IE6 (which basically defined how the internet works in its heyday), and they abandoned it a couple years later.
Source: I’m a web developer. I was finally able to drop support for pre-chromium Edge and IE11 last year (enterprise stuff was using IE11 often enough that we needed to support it) and I kid you not, I still sometimes get just shocks of relief when I’m about to use some shitty half-subset of a spec that was old when IE11 was new because it’s the only part that is likely to work (not kidding - they managed to release the browser late AND incomplete) and remember that I can actually rely on browsers working now! (Mostly. Apple’s a bit of a special snowflake with some features in Safari, but they’re mostly that way for user privacy reasons, so I’m more forgiving on them)
Also, websites don’t need to get permission to view your location when you land on the page. It’s actually easier for them to just wait until you click the “use my current location” button. Please spread the word!
It used to be bad and very late on quality of live years ago, nowdays its almost identical to Chrome, that set the standard for the last decade on what a browser should look like. It's basically a Chrome re-skin with a Bing search bar. They even changed the name from Explorer to Edge trying to rebrand.
Thing is, nowdays Edge is considered decent, better than Chrome even because Microsoft put a lot of effort on it, while Google grew complacent with the crown and its losing users left and right, the main problem being Chrome is badly optimized and uses a lot more memory than the competitors.
As for what to use, I personally recommend Firefox, is light, very customizable and open source. Another one very popular nowdays is Opera. But using Edge is not the end of the world nowdays, I just can't stand the Bing search they shove down your throat. Sorry for the late and big response, hope it helped

It's slow, intrusive, and less customizable than other browsers like opera, Firefox, and Chrome. It's not unusable but it's just not as good as the rest as far as public opinion goes.
