This is another example of just why Julie Harris was one of the greatest actresses to have ever lived. She could take ANY role and raise it above the mediocrity it most likely would be in other hands. And she was down to earth and genuine. I met her twice; I have notes from her. She was so very, very special. Sorely missed.
when i was about 5 my parents went out for the evening and left my sister who was 9 years older than i in charge of me. she allowed me to stay up later than i normally could and we watched this episode. it scared me very badly! for the longest time afterward every time i saw the Chrysler logo i would either think or say aloud that is who made that scary show!
@@marcuswilkins5011 another episode of a 60's mystery anthology i would love to see again that i first viewed in the 60's pertains to a man having a dream of being followed down a dark hall. he always hears the footsteps, but turns and can never see his pursuer's face. in the dream there is a painting of a man and it seems like a large dog is also in the painting. the man checks into a hotel and sees the exact same painting there. i have no idea the title of the series, much less the episode title. i am sure it was on nbc. up until the mid-70's in this region you could only pick up one cbs affiliate and one nbc affiliate and i know it wasn't cbs.
@@johnrunion5357There are plenty of old TV shows on here. Maybe you will come across it. I haven't seen it. I've been watching shows from the 50s through 70s.
Julie Harris is always good. Thank you.
Marvellous Bernard Herrmann score!
Julie Harris could play anything. She makes this far-fetched thriller believable.
