From my experience so far unless you are hitting green on every shot using rhe square button you are better off using the aim stick. You get a better boost to you're shooting even if its not green

Literally just shoot exactly like you would if it was a still shot. It’ll be weird because your moving sideways but you just have to practice at aiming the shot straight up and down

How are you adjusting the analog onto the line, I can barely see the line and it always moves to the far right and left and sam can you make a vid on how to adjust the moving yellow line, i was able to master the double flick, but when i try to slighly adjust into the green window it goes far right or left
I tried it at the park games, it’s inconsistent and harder. Practicing offline is a lot easier and I was able to make white release shots and green more.
Another lil tip if you change your camera view to where wthe camera follow your player from behind and you use the stick for jumpers it helps with your timing so much takes a min to get use to but it 100% helps your jumpers

Don’t worry about putting your right stick up before putting it down, in my career ask for the ball and do a jab step, the player will back up and just put your joystick straight down, timing doesn’t matter just put the joystick straight down
I appreciate you doing this, but please do this in pro am/rec against good defenders and then show it works. I’m not a fan of this. During intense games, players do not have the time to worry about a “mini game” with the shot stick, when you’re trying to shoot before a defender collapse. The shooting is terrible in this game.

Hello sam, thanks for this guidance. I tried it on practice and it does work but why when I do this on pro am / park or rec it doesnt seem to work? I am inside yellow or even near the line but it doesn’t go in. I usually take my shots from corners, does that mean I will need corner specialist? And if I turn off shot aiming, will i not need to adjust the RS to center? I just go up and down wherever i am on the court? Thanks

Only initiates on the hard down. And Remeber is up THEN down in one motion don’t let go of the stick. If you find the up too hard you can also do straight down, is not as great but still plenty useful IG is straight down HARD only

@@cityoftrees9953 yeah if you have a high shooting rating and press directly down you're in the yellow anyway. I just hit six 3s in a row in the park by being hella in the yellow with no adjustment. I have a 92 three point rating though

You can if you are confident with your L2 timing. Otherwise hold down RS to aim as long as possible. You can watch my shooting tips playlist for more videos on how to use L2
Same for me. Only in practice and sometimes in MyLeague. But TTO off or on, you gotta be perfect/ green or it's not going in. Post shots, lay ups and dunks work fine no need for the dfs next to the basket. Only true luckbive had with it is on practice mode
Wow! Thank you for this. I also found that the 12 to 6 flick works when in the triple threat position. The only difference is that you have to keep holding the stick at 6 until the animation you triggered finishes.

I went to practice cause i feel like i couldnt make a 3. I made 1/20.... the one was the only excellent i could make and for me to evolve player i have to make 50 3s. 3s are absolutely to hard. No reason u should go 1/20 on slighty early or slightly late releases.

Yeah I understand that they did it for myPlayer because of Park Cheese.. which is fine but people that like to play simulation don’t need this.. I never used a shot meter..I always relied on learning the shot. Hey Sam when exactly do you go down, right before the catch or after the catch? I got the gist of it but I'm in MyTeam using an 89 Luka no extra badges. Not greening. Is that because I need more hot zones and badges?
Hot zones and badges help but if you watch tutorial 9 I can green with 69 3pt with no badges. Down hard just on catch and if you fast enough go up before the catch. You gotta go down HARD tho either way. If you are struggling try just going down HARD first.

One tip if you are struggling with the UP to down you can go straight down. Is not as great but still very good to just go straight down

Everytime I click up my player does a dribble move. Wont shoot unless I press down then up?

BucsDucs99 shot aiming works for layups and dunks too, but not nearly as effective. Thats why ppl say turn it off

Mine does bottom to top, I was getting frustrated for a long time trying to go top to bottom but it definitely works

Looks amazing. Why is the shot meter such a huge focus when it was absolutely fine without a shot meter a few years back 🤦🏾♂️
Yeah I understand that they did it for myPlayer because of Park Cheese.. which is fine but people that like to play simulation don’t need this..
I never used a shot meter..I always relied on learning the shot. I don’t know why they didn’t make this Park specific.. but I guess with a lot of practice I’ll get use to it.. but I feel it’s impossible to use with meter off and I hate playing with meter on

Do you start your shot by moving Rs up so when you flick it down you have less time to aim it which is better because it’s super sensitive or no

Hey Sam when exactly do you go down, right before the catch or after the catch? I got the gist of it but I'm in MyTeam using an 89 Luka no extra badges. Not greening. Is that because I need more hot zones and badges?
Hot zones and badges help but if you watch tutorial 9 I can green with 69 3pt with no badges. Down hard just on catch and if you fast enough go up before the catch. You gotta go down HARD tho either way.
If you are struggling try just going down HARD first.

I think it works even if you don't aim up your joystick. aim down when the hands are ready to catch
