Hey Hector. Love your story. Great collection! I also love the older bbw . I have lists from Kent’s channel and Bonnie’s(queen of the girl geeks) that I either want or have bought. I’ve been looking at Dutch apple waffle and peach sugar cone.(like just today) I only use a lamp or warmer. I dont like the smell burning wicks give off either! One of my favorites Kent (made)me get is pineapple poundcake❤They are a fun company to collect😃Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much, they’re ugh they’re such a bad influence haha! I think that the list continues to grow everyday lol. Those two sounds so good, I know I wasent the biggest fan of gourmand but over the years it’s for sure changed. If you ever do get your hands on it let me know how it goes it looks super good and the packaging is so cute too! Warming is so much better for me, I know I like the flame burning in a dark room for mood purposes but other than that it’s just the way to go! Thank you so much for your comment! ❤

I have burned over 200 candles over 4 years and have about 60 currently in my "collection"- I burn all of them, I don't do backups and I have never purchased a signature perfume one. I tend to stick with gourmands and edibles.
I only buy at BBW on sale. The most that I have paid is $16.95 for one the Limited Edition drops.
I burn but I know that I need to switch over to warming just for safety/ health.
My favorite candle of all time so far is Banana Bundt Cake but I just got Main Street Bakery and that may surpass it😅
It’s just so fun to see what people have and what I need to get! 😜 gourmands are so good and cozy. Yes! I never pay full price for a candle, coupons or sales or something both! I need to get my hands on the new collection that just dropped! I’ve heard so many good things about the banana candle!
I also melt my candles. I use a candle crock and it works great.
Always was told to get a job there bc I was always shopping there. I would literally be in the store talking to customers as a shopper and the other customers would be asking me certain questions because they thought I work there. lol! I have considered working there, but I can’t because I would be totally broke at the end of the week, my check would go towards everything! 😂 I have literally been shopping there since the 90s, I would wear the body care in junior high and high school (h.s. 1990-1994). Back then I primarily bought Yankee candles because that’s when Yankee was good. I only started burning Bath and body Works candles around 2012. I started to really buy a lot in 2014 and that’s when my collecting began, I do still have a ton of older candles from 2012 until now.
10:55 omg- it's summer here 365 24/7🌴... burning a candle isn't ruining the candle any more than opening a bottle of soda is ruining the soda. But I get you, you're a collector. I never bought a candle in my life before few years ago cuz I was afraid I would burn the house down. But then my daughter's turned into teenagers and we'd go to BBW and they'd want a candle😂.. so we don't collect the candles as much as we collect the Sandy holders and the fragrance Miss but at least we're good if there's a hurricane again this year okay I'll be quiet now, lol. I feel you on that, that’s why I switched to melting! The crippling anxiety I would feel over burning a candle or remembering if I turned it off! Thank you so much for your comment! ❤
IDK HOW you poppped up, 😅but, literally my daughter's just cleaned out the closet in the bathroom that goes out to our pool and brought in Malibu heat cream and two of the signature vanilla lemon a spray and a lotion from like 2013 that had been hiding in their. Of course we're not going to use them but all of a sudden you popped up with your vintage bbw!! love it❤
I really wish I was into BBW back then but I really only would’ve been apart of anything past 2015! 😅 vintage candles is really where it’s at for me!
So fun getting into candles I started 8+ years ago Candle Day 2016 i happened by a store and it became my passion. I burn about 100 candles a year and have over 200 in my stash which wasnt hard to collect in over 8 years . I love to burn candles when im home (hope im not doing to much damage to my lungs. I like the flame and find it relaxing 🤷🏼♀️
I just missed Alpine Cheer and always wanted it. Most times I was able to find any old er candle on Marketplace etc but this one I never did see again
What I’ve noticed is if you’re really looking for an older candle in Mercari or eBay you have to check constantly I know that might not be ideal. But it’s worth if when you find because in my case I’ve found two under $12 both of them. I hope you can find your Alpine Cheer soon!😊
Can you recommend a candle warmer?
Sorry for the late reply! For the candle warmer it all depends on your aesthetic if that’s important to you. There are some on Amazon that are on the more pricy side of $60+ because of the color and shape. There are some $20 warmers that do the job as well just might not have a specific look. The one I have is called Hestia Candle Warmer on Amazon! I hope this helps ❤
Walmart has great warmers ,all styles and inexpensive. Their wax melts are cheap too and amazing!
