After reading the Skullgirls Webcomic, Filia and Cerabella's backstories and the mobile game's stories, I have to ask: WHY ISN'T THERE A BOSS FIGHT AGAINST THE MEDICI'S!? With how Marie being the next playable character. Heck, Marie targeted all of the Medici families, except Filia's. But guess who did: The Medici's. Going through the aftermath of the war that turned homes (that Cerebella had) into no man's land, guess who help them: The Medici's. Schemers. Gangsters. Opportunists. Kingpins. And probably gaslighted the royal family to be distrusted, so that the Medici would have sway toward the people of New Meridian.
Wouldn't it be WILD if the Last DLC Character was Marie and she had the True ending where she (with help from the rest of the Ensemble) turns on double and destroys Gehena putting a stop to all skullgirls and with that and the medici gone, Eliza tries to take over and our heroes band together in one grand finale to finish it once and for all! It would be even better if they gave Valentine, ms. Fortune and Cerebella a redemption arc, Painwheel and Filia some sort of closure on growing up, Beowulf, Big Band, and Peacock become Heroes, robo fortune (and I guess Fukua if she's canon) gets to live satisfied at a completed objective, and Squigly, Marie and Annie finally get to move on and rest in peace. I think it would be a great wrap up and satisfying ending to the story (even if it's a little too perfect and ambitious).
Double is the shiz man, she really carries the climax and conflict so well... the way she just used her knowledge of Annie's past and true intentions was amazing, I love Double so much!! She is the best villian in the whole wide history of villians, lol
I was hoping Peacock, Fortune, and Beowulf would show up to help Annie fight Double. It would have shown Annie that despite her harsh words they still came around in the end and took the true meaning of her words to heart.

And Peacock gets her ass handed by Big Band and goes for the Skullgirl afterwards. They really would've ignored her and tried again. Bursting through that ceiling, arguing about where the Skullgirl was and (totally on purpose) help Annie. Showing her that through the years, new allies can come in the nick of time, despite her jaded outlook.
Lmao Annie gave Peacock a good ol' fashioned ass whooping during the sparring match, the wallop was so hard she started crying... It actually add a really good touch of her personality that despite being an absolute demon in this game, she's still an insecure and immature kid hides behind the "tough guy wannabe" facade.
She agreed to 'be' Annie of the Stars, so its probably some contract of a sort relating to how Annie's immortal. He's a parasite and they always got some wild abilities and seem to always be able to at least talk to their host.

Rather than that, she also reveals an another place which Double (that mf shapeshifting monster yet my fav villian). And she literally beats it for many times lol. Lastly I love how she has most allies and encounter many characters
i mean Annie has existed for god know how many generations due to the hearts wish to make her ageless and be a kid, shes been fighting many skullgirls and even helped kill Squiglys mother with her and other friends
I love Annie because she is what you get when you mix a powerful fighter on it's own (like Beowulf, the two Fortunes, Parasol, Double, Valentine or Big Band) and a parasite-reliant fighter (like Peacock, Filia and Fukua, Eliza or Squigly) and you fuse them together (You could say that guys like Big Band or Ms. Fortune are still reliant on something that isn't a parasite but it's really up to you)

@@georgeuferov1497 Double will likely be easy since shes just a shadow of queen Lamia, Eliza on the other hand is the hardest part since they would need to recreate the world again to the age of theons being the rulers and having Lamia/venus/aeon there so its a extream lore drop there to see the rise and fall of theons and what lead to the hearts curse, hell Elizas story mode is already heavy on lore and just doing more story is even heavy

With the edition of more new characters being added in over a decade the game feels new again and the fact its getting new content like new color pallets and other things it's like the game has risen from the dead and got a new outlook I have a good feeling this will bring more people to play skullgirls than ever before and will open up a whole new chapter in skullgirls future
I think that Annie had every right in the world to be rude with Beowulf and Peacock, given all she went through in her life just to see how it doesn't work. The fangirl in my opinion is kinda dumb for getting mad at Annie, but other than that this story is really cool and a lot of fun, I love it.
In the fan girl’s defense, she wasn’t aware that Annie was already an immortal being who lived for hundreds of years. Her first impression of Annie was just her role as a magical star girl, so it’s not surprising that she would get upset at Annie for acting more harsh than her tv counterpart.
What did you expect, she didn’t find out Annie’s actual situation until later in the story. That and despite knowing Peacock wasn’t up to par she didn’t really do much outside of basically going “yeah your not ready yet”.
I dont think she should have been rude to Peacock, and the Fangirl part is completly understandable, the show only shows Annie fighting random stuff and giving lessons at the end, not her personal life, so how would the fangirl know what she has been through?

Because there were no such a thing as Animatronics before FNAF. No cafes with them, that started the whole Shinenigans of "I am kind of scared of Animatronics". Her story is really relaxing and nice and how she trys to save people or stop people from dieing or getting in her way
With the edition of more new characters being added in over a decade the game feels new again and the fact its getting new content like new color pallets and other things it's like the game has risen from the dead and got a new outlook I have a good feeling this will bring more people to play skullgirls than ever before and will open up a whole new chapter in skullgirls future

I think that Annie had every right in the world to be rude with Beowulf and Peacock, given all she went through in her life just to see how it doesn't work. The fangirl in my opinion is kinda dumb for getting mad at Annie, but other than that this story is really cool and a lot of fun, I love it.
In the fan girl’s defense, she wasn’t aware that Annie was already an immortal being who lived for hundreds of years. Her first impression of Annie was just her role as a magical star girl, so it’s not surprising that she would get upset at Annie for acting more harsh than her tv counterpart.
What did you expect, she didn’t find out Annie’s actual situation until later in the story.
That and despite knowing Peacock wasn’t up to par she didn’t really do much outside of basically going “yeah your not ready yet”.
I dont think she should have been rude to Peacock, and the Fangirl part is completly understandable, the show only shows Annie fighting random stuff and giving lessons at the end, not her personal life, so how would the fangirl know what she has been through?

They’ll do it soon but this was an insanely large story (longer than everyone else’s) so it’ll take some time to voice it.

I imagine if someone wished for that they’d just be told by the Skullheart that they will turn into the Skullgirl and be killed in order to stop the cycle. In which it doesn’t of course
The skullheart would say that the cycle would stop, but a new one will begin with the girl that made the wish being the 1st skullgirl
Apparently anyone with a wish the Skullheart deems unpure will have their wish "granted" with terrible negative consequences , I've heard the only character that could be considered "pure" by the Skullheart's standards is Cerebella , but I am not sure if its canon or not.
