About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first RUclips channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

I really wish that the animals had better enclosures but it's great for the people to see the animals. The cement floors with no grass, especially for the hoofed animals, actually all the animals was brutal.
Have to agree. Those beautiful raptors should be able to fly, not kept in cramped cages like that.

As a person who works at a zoo although im not a zoo keeper i can tell alot of these animals arent in the best condition and the enclosures sre not good they look more like night lock in pens then enclosures they need to upgrade everything

Yeah.. and white tigers are super inbred and unhealthy and letting people hold and pet it like that is… problematic. I get that things are different in Philippines but I had hoped Mikey would push for higher standards… especially with friends who he could influence to do better…
The animals in the zoo look depressed, especially the big cats 😢

The animals need enrichment and larger more natural habitats. Liger should not exist.
My blood boils anytime I see white tigers, especially cubs. We HAVE to do better by these animals.

I totally understand and used to feel the same way until I learned more about the context from which zoos and private exotic animal collectors work.
First, about the baby cub tiger, it was placed back with its mom afterward (the mom actually allows and trusts its human caretakers to come in an borrow the cub).
About exotic animals in captivity, I learned that thanks to the efforts of reserves, zoos, and private collections like our friend Mario, tigers and other large cats can continue to live on the planet. Sadly, like many exotic captive-bred animals (i.e. many parrots, certain invertebrates, fish, etc), that are thriving under the care of humans, the tigers' natural habitat is quickly declining and their populations are being poached to extinction. Some might think that releasing all captive-bred tigers/animals is the answer, but sadly that is no longer feasible, until the root of the problem is addressed. Governments from countries in which these tigers exist in the wild should be held accountable to enforce stricter measures to protect these animals from poaching and their habitats from human development.
It's such a hot topic and I understand both arguments. In an ideal world, these animals should ONLY be in the wild, but this world isn't ideal for them anymore.
What you show. Was just terrible. There was NOTHING good. I understand. I know! There ARE of course good zoos for animals. But this not. Its just an animal cruel. A prison. Pain. Sorrow. The animals looks sick. Just for fun to people. Its just terrible, how the animals live in this visited zoo😢 If this was in germany, it was closed because of animalholdingcrime.

When I was a kid there used to be a crocodile in ftont of a certain establishment along Magsaysay drive in Olongapo. I wonder what happened to it. It was around the 70's. I didn't see it anymore in the 80's

Those lions are so thin, especially the males. I can see their ribs. If they have a disease, the owners should have clarified that. Otherwise shame on the owners for allowing their animals to deteriorate into such a condition. If this was a zoo in Europe or Canada, this place would be fined. These owners use animals for showing off, not because they want to have the best zoo possible where animals are fed well.

New subscriber. Mikey I'm an animal lover would you please teach kids and grown-ups how to take care of animals? Most Filipinos don't care about their pets or other domestic animals. Especially dogs who need constant love. The water 24/7 and shelter this is one important things that you can do to protect and provide good homes for pets in the Philippines. I feel sorry for animals who are stuck in their cages and kennels they need the freedom to roam. Love your channel take care
I think the creature on 2:03 is not an eel but a juvenile marine file snake (Acrochordus granulatus) they are non-venomous.
