For those who ask, the regular voice over individual may be on annual leave, moved on to other Alux projects, or just to busy to do it everyday. The new voice is probably been promoted or temporarily covering. So please make her feel welcome and be kind. I'm sure overtime you'll grow to like her or appreciate her work.
ALUX can you do a video on "Signs of a dead-end job"? Jobs with Low-pay, no health insurance, awful vacation and sick days or personal days off plans, minimum hours, a stressful manager, co-workers who are jerks, no opportunity to be promoted, bad pay raises, long and stressful transpotation to get to your job, company displaying favortism or wrongful termination, just to give a few examples.
In my previous place there were a couple of girls who match this description. I used to do double the work because of it. I got to know that when me and some of my coworkers left the company the daily work output was reduced to almost 1/4th of the work we did. The GM even pointed out that the work quality and quantity has reduced.
Once I pointed out that the jokes she does makes me uncomfortable. Since she was a part of the HR the manager was present. And when I mentioned it she went out crying. I asked if I did something wrong and the HR manager said you were too straightforward. In my defence I am a guy who likes to get to the point as much as I can in order to reduce time waste so obviously came to the point directly.
I'm sorry alux. I am very Grateful. Everyone deserves a 'lunch and bathroom break ". I hope the alux lady comes back. It is very difficult to get through the video without her. Best wishes alux lady.
I specifically came here to comment about Alux Original Voice Lady. Her voice is the signature voice of the channel. They could do one thing they could record her voice and make a digital voice (her voice in the digital version) whenever she is not available.
In theory this is right, in real world experience people are imperfect or could be working under constraints such as lack of necessary resources and dire staff shortages (nursing) etc ..the maxim that "every piece of information should be properly taught and passed on" would be ideal and efficient - though in practice, senior staff can be too stretched to show you how, so you're expected to self teach whilst running around doing the job, doable but inefficient. Another example - showing vision, passion and suggest efficiency measures as a younger worker - say it upsets the ego of the apple-cart established manager who likes things inefficient - they make your life difficult
While I thought the Low/High Value Woman/Man/Couple videos were very useful, this one misses the proverbial mark. The actual 15 signs are somewhat arguable, and the supporting commentary seemed too "black and white". Many of the stock video clips were hyperbolic, some to the extreme of being campy. The thought that came to mind half way through the video was, "Is this the Alux B-Team?"
Remarkable person reading this.. It’s going to get better; all it is a season of opportunity to grow and be better than before. Challenging times are meant to strengthen us, not to break us. Success doesn’t define to what happened to us; it is how we choose to deal with our circumstances. The more you grow and develop as an incredible person as you are, the more things will change for the better. I can definitely see your point of view to many of these 15 reasons #Alux. I would propose a grey area to those who demonstrate few (not necessarily all) of these traits in the workplace: A low value worker, may make for a high value entrepreneur.
I'm sensing some discord here because Alux lady isn't here and they decided to put out a video on Low Value Employees. Alux lady is anything but, and made it happen. I hope all is well and this lady cool
Not everyone has a office job, I have very little use for them . The people who make the product, or process the product. If they don’t get it right there nothing to ship. I’m the one responsible for getting it right. Make sure it makes all the requirements. The customer request. I do all the physical work. Most companies have more off staff than people making the product. The company I’m working for now, all the equipment I use is primitive. Your video shows people sitting at a desk on a laptop. I don’t even talk to. Just because I do the processing doesn’t mean I’m not educated is wrong. I have certification. When they come in my work area . I ignore them.

From 1998 to 2000 I worked with this guy who was completely unprofessional and unethical. He always gave everyone problems, including myself. He harassed me on a daily basis. And he always got away with it all. He was, I guess you could say, the boss's pet. He'd done so many things that anyone else would've been fired right on the spot for, but he still got to work there. A few years after I left that job, I heard he was arrested for stealing money from the vending machines where he worked and then he finally got fired. He should've been fired when I was working there. Hell, I think I should've reported him to HR! That would've done a world of good.

Since they got at will states and right to work states. Get rid of them and actually value employees, perhaps people will stay. By companies and corporations disrespectful to their employees, their own profits will suffer and who wants for a company and corporation who doesn't value workers at all?

The reason was because I was so aware that I don't want to be an employee and I want to have my own business, I really hate 9-5 regular job. Workers reciprocate their environment most times. We'll leave it there. As far as the voice, ALUX app users know the main lady is holding that down. Talent goes with the money. We'll leave that there as well.

Meh. This could nearly fit an exceptional performer as well. Some people are so productive and valuable (and know it), they can zombie through shifts like nothing and still be the most productive of an entire team, driving results. I have seen it at management levels at multiple companies. Bored out of their minds without challenges, usually.
I've never wrote a youtube comment to Alux, even if I'm a silent listener for 3 years now. This new narator will slowly empty the stadium. Just finished the video and it is without soul, no passion and you have to be really attentive to follow. I find it funny that she narates the Low Value Employee (not that she is, but compared to the prior she is not in the same league)
Not every job can be assessed by performance. Some LVE just do the bare minimum just not to get fired, delegates every task and later take pictures to show the boss tasks are done. The boss doesn’t know that this low value employee played no part in doing the tasks. Paperwork is done perfectly because the LVE knows the boss sees the figures and reports. Act like the most diligent worker only when the boss is around. Covert low value employees are more common in the workplace. Low value workers don’t watch Alux videos!
