Nah you guys have completely let us down. We were soooo happy for this game now we’re all just trudging along with our heads down at this point. At least add a couple of new guns so we don’t always have to use the Mk18. It’s the only gun that does damage. The ak47m and ak74 do no damage what so ever. A ak in real life is taking chunks of meat off no lie. Just please please please add new guns and fix Ai damage
They definitely haven't let people down.. please remember the game is in early access.. and where this currently sits is a lot better then a lot of games that came out at EA time, just got to be patient!
The road map potentially won't bring players back regardless what is on it. What needs to happen is an update adding content (weapons, alternate quests, lootable items or a small poi). Players won't wait 6,8 12 months for a large update they will just leave and find somthing else, I have friends who purchased the £90 addition and now no longer play it due to sponge AI poor ballistics and repetitive quests. Ballistics as a whole needs reworking, yes the idea they have is amazing but to much emphasis was put on 5.56. 5.56 does not kill people in 2-3 rounds 7.62 does and as someone said "takes chunks of meat off" this is why IRL armies are moving towards 6.58mm more man stoppers. I truly love this game and have such high hopes for it but there needs to be changes and quickly before the servers become dead. Keep up the good videos my man and maybe one day we will bump into each other while on the hunt 😉.
i havent played after getting tired of AI killing me from other side of walls and buildings when im moving in stealth... or the NCP start talking shit from in the building when there is no way they had line of sight... it takes me out of the experience and immersion
I didn't really mention keys as I think it is a super easy fix.. I am honestly surprised they haven;t attended to this sooner.. but glad to hear you are coming back either way!
I had no problems with keys, one sweep of the first town got me all the keys, next sweep i got almost all again. I think it would be stupid for all the AIs to have keys.
I am waiting for more content. It is pretty repetitive. I love this game. All my interactions with people even with language barrier are excellent. Everyone is a nice dude i have met. Could not have said it better myself! Great video! I love GZW I have several hours but this nonsense of “it’s in alpha” when people give constructive criticism its crazy. As soon as you make money from a game you are open to it. I love the game I believe in it and in about a year’s time it will be one of the best games we’ve ever seen in my opinion.
Game released way too early . Devs too advantage of the Tarkov drama and took a shot in the dark . Started strong but game has a lot of work to do . They said 6-7 years till full release ?! Damn ill be lucky to be alive by then 💀
I think for myself, one of the issues is that the AI are very unpredictable in terms of, if they're going to take one shot and die, or take a whole mag, or pop you in one shot from a fair distance away without warning, or you doing anything to draw attention, I've seen a lot of people have a problem with this, and it's really hard to play the game and help bug find, or help test tasks if the game keeps chewing away at your patience, now I do love the game, and also have over 200+ hours, but I'm also a solo player and while I know they didn't expect as many solo players, I still think they need to address that issue, because having a game which seems to have some god tier AI making some tasks/locations seem almost impossible or outright unplayable is a bigger issue than stability, I feel players wouldn't mind the lag or servers dying now and then if the game/AI were on an even playing field with the players, and while optimisation is great, it also doesn't make much sense doing to much this early on with it, because once they add more assets/locations, weather and other dynamics, the optimisation will need addressing again, I feel like the playability in terms of game play should also get a fair bit of attention (I know they're doing some of this, but the AI still feel a little over reactive and have pretty insane aim at times) Now I wouldn't want to end on a negative, so I will say, it is one my favorite games, and I love getting lost in the action this game provides, it truly is it's own game, with elements from some games which I also enjoy playing, but the way it combines them really is something special, I really hope this game doesn't die, I really do hope they fix these issues soon, so we can all have fun, solo or coop, pve or pvp, because I really do think this game can go very far, and I think we all see that. Stale / Repetitive is just what games are. Either they are fun and you replay them over and over, or you don’t. Live service gaming is a blight on the hobby.
-Not nearly enough guns, and only The AR type is worth anything. -Literally the same tasks over and over, just different locations. -Bots are broken. X-Ray vision, too accurate. -Things take way too much time to do. We're talking 5-6 minute helicopter rides, PvP based mostly on hiding in bushes and waiting longer than your opponents. Not enough urban warfare, or high ground, etc.
The BIGGEST problem with this game is the key system. I have learned the tactics and strategies to not get one tapped by AI. I can clear every AO solo. Even though I have completed all the missions, it was only because of the charity of random strangers who had a needed key - and A LOT of waiting while quest blocked. After clearing Blue Lagoon 125 times, not one AI has dropped the Storage key needed for the quest - NOT ONE! I have 65 BL Shack keys but not one for the other quest. Same with the SM OSTRG and BP Elder. Keys should be rewards for completing previous quests or a specific task (i.e. killing the boss), not a lottery. After completing all the missions, I thought I would make a quest of finding all the keys so I could help other quest blocked players. The repetitive monotony of key drop failure has killed the game for me. I’ve gifted the game to someone else so I won’t be back but what a shame that the Devs couldn’t have implemented this “easy fix” sooner. I think a big part of players leaving is the frustration of being quest blocked by this poorly implemented key system.
i think the game has a strong core playerbase of people like myself who will play the game and be patient with the devs. this game has drawn in a lot of people that wasnt the target audience and the large amount of those who are unhappy are players that aren't used to this style of game, and maybe aren't sympathetic with an EA release. there will be ahrdcore fans that stick with this game forever just like tarkov. im not worried about the game dying at all, as long as nothing goes majorly wrong
I think this is a really good statement.. maybe they didn't expect this many people to be drawn to the game so early? who knows.. can't wait for a roadmap though!
For me it was the Aimbot overpowered AI and lack of stealth gameplay that made me log off, and decided to take it on at another time like a year or so. Need more time in the oven
I cant deal with the performance, I have a higher end computer and I cant be competitive at all bc I need to use FG to get above 60FPS on low settings...I really do hope they can fix these issues.
@@justinz830 I came from a gtx 960...anything that can run new games on max settings above 60FPS is good. Rn I got a 4060 laptop with a i7 13650HZ 16 ram ddr5. At the time of my comment the FG for the game was trash, now the FG is actually manageable, I am happy with what I have. The game is just unoptimized. And upgrading is expensive, not everyone has money to throw at something that expensive.

Stop playing because of the ridiculous key drop non sense. I've been stuck on 4 missions because of this and nobody at basecamp seem's to have the key either.
it's built like a campaign game with the task system. after you beat the tasks there's nothing else for retention other than pvp. Differently style tasks would be good too. Also the only spot I like in gray zone is tiger bay. It's the only town that's a challenge
So I now have almost 115 hours in GZW and I think the game has a solid foundation as you said, it is still in early access and you shouldn't forget that. Of course it still has a few errors that you can get upset about, but that's completely normal and I prefer that a development studio takes the time to develop the game properly and not mess it up and that's what Madfinger Games does. You put a lot of time and love into this game. I've made some new friends in this game just because you help each other and that's one thing I really like. Some points like the crashes, the AI and the silencers definitely still need to be revised, but I have a lot of hope and I'm already looking forward to possible new weapon missions and whatever else may come.
I feel this will be just as Arma Reforger release was. Released super buggy, everyone hated and bitched about it, small player base and now a year or so later they patched it up and added a ton of content and now it’s a great game with a pretty good sized player base.
one thing I would like to see in the game with it being a mil sim is when you shoot the AI in different body parts it causes the AI to bleed out, or limit movement and drop there weapons
I had no issues buying the game as well as the supporter addon to help the devs. Love the game and the casual part in PvE because not everyone has 40 hours a week to play :)
I don't think the game is dying just more so we are awaiting more content to the game and some QoL changes overall but yea I absolutely have a great time on GZW overall and look forward to the future updates and additions 💥
PVP got quiet this week, had to literally watch the map and ask players if there’s action where they died at. But of course nobody responds . I’ll still fight the overpowered Tiger Bay bots 😂
Perfomance issues and bugs are present but not a game killer for me. But lack of content is, the ai needs a lot of work, tasking is repetitive and uninteresting, i get it they send you to all the locations on the map, but when you go at the same location, sometimes same even building and floor of the building for a task it gets boring really fast. Also i am not a fan of the key system, it kind of makes sense in the bunker but when you need a key to open this flimsy door to this barely standing hut its dumb af.
Definitely love what the future holds for this game. The AI for sure needs some tuning and some bugs addressed but excited for the future. For a game that’s not fully out and I already have over a hundred hours of play been well worth it for me in time spent.
Love this game, not playing as religiously as when first released but still dipping in, testing in the test servers more than anything this week. Also waiting for new info, fixes, contant etc. Definitely not dead or abandoned by any stretch imo
I love everyone saying 7.62 will be putting people down just like 5.56 and they arent even talking about 7.62 NATO, just do a little research on the ammo types in the game meaning 855a1 vs BP and look at what armor they are rated to pen. Flesh damage sure, anything other than that, no. They need another AP round for 7.62x39 for sure. I also love how we are still talking about the release being to early to try to use the Tarkov drama as a way to get people into the game when it wasn't even ready when they addressed this already and said this planned, they would not be able to pay employees anymore come July if they did not release the game and start making some profit.
I think Arena is a completely different game though, but it still is a game that drew a lot of the EFT players from GZW to AbI ...I wonder which game will be better and survive in the future

I also think, IMO, that having to put a whole magazine into an AI whilst he stands there, takes aim, and kills you. Then it’s respawn back in base and wait for another 4 min he’ll ride to find your body has gone anyway! That’s my grip anyway
Im sure people will return when more updates come.. this is the problem with early access releases these days.. fortunate because people can provide feedback to make it better in the future but also unfortunate because you have to pay and play a stale empty game until its fully complete with all features and mechanics. I just want the map to feel like its worth traversing on foot.. the helicopter rides get very old very fast.. i want to roam and loot and try and survive on a massive map.. they need more survival and crafting elements and more POIs with enemies to make it worth playing/exploring more
I agree.....unfortunately we have to wait now for more.. I agree with walking or running on the map... I think more POI's will get added in the future as well to make running more viable..

Content is the last thing the game needs at this point. It needs to run properly, the server rubber banding has to end and the AI need to be fixed. People need to stop trying to play an early E/A game for hundreds of hours. The fact people already have hundreds of hours in this short time means people need to go outside and touch some grass. It’s truly troubling people have these addictions.
Unfortunately this is the world we live in now where us nerd gamers will constantly play a game until it offers us no more.. we just smash hours into because we love it.. I can totally agree with you on the rubber banding though!

I hope this does well because when it's running smooth I find the game very enjoyable. IMO just needs better performance (they've been heading in that direction and I have a decent gaming computer so my performance issues have been decent for the most part) and they need to tune down the AI. You shoot the first one they they all know your precise location immediately, then I get one shot way too frequently. Tune down their accuracy or something, I rarely ever use the medical system because I'm either not getting hit or getting one shot the majority of the time. Also what adds to that is, the AI that usually kill me are ones that somehow sneak up on me making 0 chatter noise and no noise when moving (no footsteps or bushes rustling etc) and I get shot from close up. Most the time it's from the rear but if they do that from in front or the side I've seen them split second before I die and wondered how they got there to begin with, because most the time it's not that they were sitting there they were moving before I died just not making any noise though. The #1 thing it had that hands down drew me to the game was the fact it had a mode for PVE only. Other extraction shooters, the PVP is what made me quit those games. People complain about being camped at extraction zones in GZW but it happens in ALL the other extraction shooters lol, it's WHY I don't play them. GZW I have the option to just straight up turn that off. I understand that I don't speak for the majority in this case though because most people that play any kind of shooter-game are doing it for the PVP.
It needs a lot of things and yes it starts with performance.. once that is fixed the game will still need more content to drive people back to playing it. A.I of course is very annoying and difficult.
The game needs more reason to take risks. Ive been going Tiger Bay sweating my cheeks off only to realize there is simply nothing there but a lesser version of what I can simppy buy off traders. Madfinger games make good mobile games. Not sure how long they support their games though.. they usually release a sequel afterwards, instead of supporting the current game forever. I assume, they will do a GreyZone Warfare 2 instead lol
I have 392 hours in this game I have never played a game this much. some games I have played for almost 15 years yet nothing has come to close 392 hours
most people want more content and that is not the devs priority and it shouldn't be since theres a lot of bugs and issues too. so it is pretty much dead and gonna take long time for this game to resurrect.
Am on the final mission and have completed all solo, however the final mission with the AI make it virtually impossible as a solo player. Although still trying this weekend I will be putting the game on hold until something is done with the AI. For those that say GZW isn’t a solo game, I respect but the game won’t make it if not solo friendly. I have and continue to run into more solo’s than squads. I was very capable of wiping squads in DMZ 4 and even 6 man when in the game so it’s not a skill issue it’s an AI issue. Even when trying this final mission on PvE mode TB mall is “almost” impossible. Will end with I love this game and the potential is there and hope sooner than later it’s get fixed, updated and with more content. If I don’t complete this final mission or am unable, I don’t think I’ll continue with the PvP even as much as I enjoy it. I guess it’s the completionism or lack of that will have me shelve the game. the game needs some pvp events. lets say there are airdrops we need to search and rescue. the faction that brings the intel to the homebase gets the reward. Or a Faction has to Protect this item and the other two need to steal or destroy it.
alot of peoplealso got banned, some have been unbanned for being falsey banned, soem still waiting but yeah the game needs more and perforance updates. also checking as of now there is almost 4000 players with just over 5000 in 24 hours, but for sure is alot of players not playing anymore
I just think that people are expecting too much out of a Pre-Alpha game. One needs to keep the perspective of where this game is at. They simply got too eager to get players into their game, it's nowhere near ready and shot themselves in the foot. I have a pretty high end PC and suffer from terrible rubberbanding and constant T-posed AI that just stand in the middle of the road.

Hit 80 hours recently and then stopped playing. In the right hands it has potential but I don’t think the studio has the money to develop this further. I got very worried when they said they released because they needed money. so my concern is that they’ll reduce the dev team to a skeleton crew and updates will become few and far between
Played it first 2-3 weeks...then gave up. Maybe I'll just wait until the full release and when it allows private servers. PvE don't want to wait around for randos to leave area or finish their run...and waiting for item or target respawn
They should close all servers for 6 months - 1 year.. open them up when most of the things are sorted and new things added, it will explode. And from that, they should release smaller, but more often updates instead of big ones which are not that often.
Good game, flawed with the usual early access issues. Terrible net coding and performance, i reckona lot of us like it but dislike the state it's is as it's unplayable
this is not a game. this is laggy garbage in which they kill you through the walls, sniper rifles with the best cartridge kill a naked bot in the head with 3 shots, while at the same time a bot with an AK 74 with the worst cartridge kills 2 kilometers away. not a single landing without a lag. lags lags lags. There is no optimization as such. The worst shooter I've ever tried in my life.
I play now, but looking forward to new content and optimization. Remember that this is only 20% of the game they have planned and this is early access.
I've now played the game for over 125 hours and I still really like it. Of course there's still a lot for @madfinger to do, but all in all it's a very good basis. It's just Early Access and I don't have any sympathy for kids crying because they think they've been let down and so on. I'm really looking forward to more content and was happy to pay the money for the Supporter Edition. Thank you for your informative and high quality videos. Keep up the good work.

This is what all extraction shooters suffer from because the basic premise is basically pointless and shallow. Enter zone, pick up item, leave zone. Like how much “less” can it get? I don’t think it literally can get any “less” than that
I wish there was a n offline mode or some way to adjust the ai difficulty. I suck and find that the ai are to powerful for me and I would enjoy the game if I could adjust there difficulty.
I see players with very low xp every night witch i think means that are new players coming in or they love so much the game that tey are whipping the accounts and do it all over again .. So definitely GZW as a great future ahead ..
Just set up a pvp to be more valuable. Implement dog tags or possibly new vendors that are pvp exclusive and can only be leveled thru pvp activities. The game won’t last if it’s heavy pve.
It was released too soon, even the basic mechanics don't work in it, or it's full of bugs that should be basic in an FPS genre. Even 7 weeks after "release" you can't engage in a normal firefight with the AI, either too close or too far. You still can't shoot through windows/glass everywhere. Mainly FN, TB Mall etc. There aren't enough enemy players to PVP, so you're left with fighting the AI, but they're completely broken, and the missions are boring and repetitive. They simply rode the Tarkov incident for money. Now they just need time for everything. I understand it's early access, but that doesn't explain everything. You can't comment on the game on Discord either, because the fans of this tech demo will immediately attack you.
In regards to your PVP comment when I was playing there were a heap of players hence why I made PvP videos.. now I am unsure.. things will bounce back for sure though!

Even though I have completed all the missions, it was only because of the charity of random strangers who had a needed key - and A LOT of waiting while quest blocked. After clearing Blue Lagoon 125 times, not one AI has dropped the Storage key needed for the quest - NOT ONE! I have 65 BL Shack keys but not one for the other quest. Same with the SM OSTRG and BP Elder. Keys should be rewards for completing previous quests or a specific task (i.e. killing the boss), not a lottery. After completing all the missions, I thought I would make a quest of finding all the keys so I could help other quest blocked players. The repetitive monotony of key drop failure has killed the game for me. I’ve gifted the game to someone else so I won’t be back but what a shame that the Devs couldn’t have implemented this “easy fix” sooner. I think a big part of players leaving is the frustration of being quest blocked by this poorly implemented key system.
I agree but to me i feel it is an easy fix.. something that will come soon or on the next big wipe!
i think the game has a strong core playerbase of people like myself who will play the game and be patient with the devs. this game has drawn in a lot of people that wasnt the target audience and the large amount of those who are unhappy are players that aren't used to this style of game, and maybe aren't sympathetic with an EA release. there will be ahrdcore fans that stick with this game forever just like tarkov. im not worried about the game dying at all, as long as nothing goes majorly wrong

For me it was the Aimbot overpowered AI and lack of stealth gameplay that made me log off, and decided to take it on at another time like a year or so. Need more time in the oven

I cant deal with the performance, I have a higher end computer and I cant be competitive at all bc I need to use FG to get above 60FPS on low settings...I really do hope they can fix these issues.

@@justinz830 I came from a gtx 960...anything that can run new games on max settings above 60FPS is good. Rn I got a 4060 laptop with a i7 13650HZ 16 ram ddr5. At the time of my comment the FG for the game was trash, now the FG is actually manageable, I am happy with what I have. The game is just unoptimized. And upgrading is expensive, not everyone has money to throw at something that expensive.

It is not always 1 shot... yes they are difficult but many times I have been left bleeding and still alive.
Love the game, but got a little tired of being one tapped through a bush by ai or if i do see them a leaf eats my bullets

it's built like a campaign game with the task system. after you beat the tasks there's nothing else for retention other than pvp. Differently style tasks would be good too. Also the only spot I like in gray zone is tiger bay. It's the only town that's a challenge

So I now have almost 115 hours in GZW and I think the game has a solid foundation as you said, it is still in early access and you shouldn't forget that. Of course it still has a few errors that you can get upset about, but that's completely normal and I prefer that a development studio takes the time to develop the game properly and not mess it up and that's what Madfinger Games does. You put a lot of time and love into this game. I've made some new friends in this game just because you help each other and that's one thing I really like. Some points like the crashes, the AI and the silencers definitely still need to be revised, but I have a lot of hope and I'm already looking forward to possible new weapon missions and whatever else may come.

I feel this will be just as Arma Reforger release was. Released super buggy, everyone hated and bitched about it, small player base and now a year or so later they patched it up and added a ton of content and now it’s a great game with a pretty good sized player base.

one thing I would like to see in the game with it being a mil sim is when you shoot the AI in different body parts it causes the AI to bleed out, or limit movement and drop there weapons

Perfomance issues and bugs are present but not a game killer for me. But lack of content is, the ai needs a lot of work, tasking is repetitive and uninteresting, i get it they send you to all the locations on the map, but when you go at the same location, sometimes same even building and floor of the building for a task it gets boring really fast. Also i am not a fan of the key system, it kind of makes sense in the bunker but when you need a key to open this flimsy door to this barely standing hut its dumb af.

Definitely love what the future holds for this game. The AI for sure needs some tuning and some bugs addressed but excited for the future. For a game that’s not fully out and I already have over a hundred hours of play been well worth it for me in time spent.

I love everyone saying 7.62 will be putting people down just like 5.56 and they arent even talking about 7.62 NATO, just do a little research on the ammo types in the game meaning 855a1 vs BP and look at what armor they are rated to pen. Flesh damage sure, anything other than that, no. They need another AP round for 7.62x39 for sure. I also love how we are still talking about the release being to early to try to use the Tarkov drama as a way to get people into the game when it wasn't even ready when they addressed this already and said this planned, they would not be able to pay employees anymore come July if they did not release the game and start making some profit.

I also think, IMO, that having to put a whole magazine into an AI whilst he stands there, takes aim, and kills you. Then it’s respawn back in base and wait for another 4 min he’ll ride to find your body has gone anyway! That’s my grip anyway

Im sure people will return when more updates come.. this is the problem with early access releases these days.. fortunate because people can provide feedback to make it better in the future but also unfortunate because you have to pay and play a stale empty game until its fully complete with all features and mechanics. I just want the map to feel like its worth traversing on foot.. the helicopter rides get very old very fast.. i want to roam and loot and try and survive on a massive map.. they need more survival and crafting elements and more POIs with enemies to make it worth playing/exploring more

Content is the last thing the game needs at this point. It needs to run properly, the server rubber banding has to end and the AI need to be fixed. People need to stop trying to play an early E/A game for hundreds of hours. The fact people already have hundreds of hours in this short time means people need to go outside and touch some grass. It’s truly troubling people have these addictions.
Unfortunately this is the world we live in now where us nerd gamers will constantly play a game until it offers us no more.. we just smash hours into because we love it.. I can totally agree with you on the rubber banding though!

I hope this does well because when it's running smooth I find the game very enjoyable. IMO just needs better performance (they've been heading in that direction and I have a decent gaming computer so my performance issues have been decent for the most part) and they need to tune down the AI. You shoot the first one they they all know your precise location immediately, then I get one shot way too frequently. Tune down their accuracy or something, I rarely ever use the medical system because I'm either not getting hit or getting one shot the majority of the time. Also what adds to that is, the AI that usually kill me are ones that somehow sneak up on me making 0 chatter noise and no noise when moving (no footsteps or bushes rustling etc) and I get shot from close up. Most the time it's from the rear but if they do that from in front or the side I've seen them split second before I die and wondered how they got there to begin with, because most the time it's not that they were sitting there they were moving before I died just not making any noise though.
The #1 thing it had that hands down drew me to the game was the fact it had a mode for PVE only. Other extraction shooters, the PVP is what made me quit those games. People complain about being camped at extraction zones in GZW but it happens in ALL the other extraction shooters lol, it's WHY I don't play them. GZW I have the option to just straight up turn that off. I understand that I don't speak for the majority in this case though because most people that play any kind of shooter-game are doing it for the PVP.
It needs a lot of things and yes it starts with performance.. once that is fixed the game will still need more content to drive people back to playing it. A.I of course is very annoying and difficult.
The game needs more reason to take risks. Ive been going Tiger Bay sweating my cheeks off only to realize there is simply nothing there but a lesser version of what I can simppy buy off traders. The feeling this game me slowly drove me a away. Great game tho, it certainly has potential to he more. Good luck madfinger.

Ai needs fixing, wait times are ridiculous for helis, and yes the content is stale. Also I stress IRL paying bills why do I need to do the same when I loose a kit in game due to crashes or super Ai....

Am on the final mission and have completed all solo, however the final mission with the AI make it virtually impossible as a solo player. Although still trying this weekend I will be putting the game on hold until something is done with the AI. For those that say GZW isn’t a solo game, I respect but the game won’t make it if not solo friendly. I have and continue to run into more solo’s than squads. I was very capable of wiping squads in DMZ 4 and even 6 man when in the game so it’s not a skill issue it’s an AI issue. Even when trying this final mission on PvE mode TB mall is “almost” impossible. Will end with I love this game and the potential is there and hope sooner than later it’s get fixed, updated and with more content. If I don’t complete this final mission or am unable, I don’t think I’ll continue with the PvP even as much as I enjoy it. I guess it’s the completionism or lack of that will have me shelve the game. Great video and much enjoyed.

the game needs some pvp events. lets say there are airdrops we need to search and rescue. the faction that brings the intel to the homebase gets the reward. Or a Faction has to Protect this item and the other two need to steal or destroy it.

I just think that people are expecting too much out of a Pre-Alpha game. One needs to keep the perspective of where this game is at. They simply got too eager to get players into their game, it's nowhere near ready and shot themselves in the foot. I have a pretty high end PC and suffer from terrible rubberbanding and constant T-posed AI that just stand in the middle of the road.
Yeah the issues with the performance really hurt the game but hopefully people will come back in due time

GZW showed their hand and people have a rough idea of what the game is going to be, now the next big tactical looter game just has to implement a few of the gameplay/design choices folks like in this game and they'll have the majority of the audiences attention... until the next big tactical looter pops up, repeat..

Hit 80 hours recently and then stopped playing. In the right hands it has potential but I don’t think the studio has the money to develop this further.
I got very worried when they said they released because they needed money. so my concern is that they’ll reduce the dev team to a skeleton crew and updates will become few and far between
I mean after the money they made from all the purchases of the game I would assume they do haha..

Played it first 2-3 weeks...then gave up. Maybe I'll just wait until the full release and when it allows private servers. PvE don't want to wait around for randos to leave area or finish their run...and waiting for item or target respawn

They should close all servers for 6 months - 1 year.. open them up when most of the things are sorted and new things added, it will explode. And from that, they should release smaller, but more often updates instead of big ones which are not that often.

this is not a game. this is laggy garbage in which they kill you through the walls, sniper rifles with the best cartridge kill a naked bot in the head with 3 shots, while at the same time a bot with an AK 74 with the worst cartridge kills 2 kilometers away. not a single landing without a lag. lags lags lags. There is no optimization as such. The worst shooter I've ever tried in my life.
A bit over the top .. but understandable pain.
I play now, but looking forward to new content and optimization. Remember that this is only 20% of the game they have planned and this is early access.

I've now played the game for over 125 hours and I still really like it. Of course there's still a lot for @madfinger to do, but all in all it's a very good basis. It's just Early Access and I don't have any sympathy for kids crying because they think they've been let down and so on. I'm really looking forward to more content and was happy to pay the money for the Supporter Edition.

This is what all extraction shooters suffer from because the basic premise is basically pointless and shallow. Enter zone, pick up item, leave zone. Like how much “less” can it get? I don’t think it literally can get any “less” than that
I wish there was a n offline mode or some way to adjust the ai difficulty. I suck and find that the ai are to powerful for me and I would enjoy the game if I could adjust there difficulty.

Just set up a pvp to be more valuable. Implement dog tags or possibly new vendors that are pvp exclusive and can only be leveled thru pvp activities. The game won’t last if it’s heavy pve.

It was released too soon, even the basic mechanics don't work in it, or it's full of bugs that should be basic in an FPS genre.
Even 7 weeks after "release" you can't engage in a normal firefight with the AI, either too close or too far. You still can't shoot through windows/glass everywhere. Mainly FN, TB Mall etc.
There aren't enough enemy players to PVP, so you're left with fighting the AI, but they're completely broken, and the missions are boring and repetitive.
They simply rode the Tarkov incident for money.
Now they just need time for everything.
I understand it's early access, but that doesn't explain everything.
