    Why wouldn’t you do the whole job with the shaper?

      Depth. Also, the origin is fundamentally a trim router, so it doesn't have the power that a larger router does, which means it's harder to manage taking off lots of material at the same time. Use the origin for the precision and unique design, use the more powerful and faster tools for clean, beautiful results.

      @@psychoticvenom thanks for replying. i don't doubt you're right but by the time i'd put that much shaper tape down, the thing would be doing the whole job, just in many passes....🙂
