I hate to put a downer on such an aesthetic asmr video but I'm sad to say David Day's works and books are usually said to not follow Tolkien lore very closely and I'm afraid the maps are notoriously the worst. Still good books to enjoy, but just be wary of the things you find inside
Wow what a stunning book on wonderous subject! Can never get enough of Tolkien's lore and craft. Makes for perfect relaxation! Would be cool to own as well.
Lovely ASMR and book! I absolutely love Tolkien's books, especially "The Lord of the Rings", my favourite character is Galadriel because of a song called "Galadriel" by Barclay James Harvest

Elden Ring probably was inspired by the trees - seeing how George R R Martin was involved in the writing (who is a huge fan of Tolkien's work and gathered a lot of inspiration from LOTR/Silmarillion) I wouldn't be very surprised. In fact, most fantasy authors have read Tolkien and he's kind of paved the way for fantasy in general. :)
