Actually, your description is perfect! Perfect and concise! When I was a little girl, I'd read stories and books about fairies and elves and I remember always reading about how their beauty could drive humans mad, and could lure them away from safety and the normal world....Lee/Thranduil totally makes me think of that! That's why I think he's actually a real Elf! Lol I'm falling victim! :) ha
Thranduil is the best thing which happened with the Hobbit movies. Amazon please, the World would like to see a Thranduil movie/series/spin off with Lee Pace. Please!!!!! :)
WOW! This video is so great of Thranduil! I wasn't always crazy about Thranduil until I saw videos of Lee Pace, and he is such a cool guy! And he does such a magnificent job playing Thranduil! Since all my favorite dwarves won't have a happy ending, the only thing that I am looking forward to in this last movie is watching Thranduil get off that Throne of his and do some kick-ass real fighting! The previews look great!
Although, there was missing a bit on the end of the movie, I still love this movie. All the characters were amzing. In the LOFTR my hero was Legolas, in this movie his father, Thranduil. A great warrior King.
Wow. This representation of the stoic and majestic Thranduil putting down the wine goblet, shedding the gowns and ornate crown and leaving his throne to kick. some. a** , set to this heart-swelling music takes my breath away. GORGEOUS video.
How do you figure that? He kept his kingdom and people safe and protected for the better part of two Ages, WITHOUT the help of a magic Ring like those wusses Elrond and Galadriel, and defeated an orc army in the end. I’d say that makes him the strongest Elf ruler. Oh, and he’s the only one who’s a king. And who deserves the title. And after El and Glad slink off to the Havens, he’s tough enough to stick around. Oh, and did I mention gorgeous? Because yeah, all that and a bag of lembas.
@@rockchicknyc6728 that isn’t *quite* how it works. Like… Elrond actually IS massively powerful in addition to having the Ring. And because he has the Ring of Power he is able to do a lot more than Thranduil can. Similarly with Galadriel. However, kinda yes. Thranduil loses a massive amount of ground over the course of the 3rd Age. Dol Guldur, was the original capital of his realm before Sauron took it over. And the spiders are really really bad. But, Thranduil was able to enchant the river in front of his halls so that anything which falls in it goes to sleep: which is a pretty sweet enchantment. The guy clearly learned a lot from Melian back in the day. He also seems to have replicated one of Fëanor’s great feats: lamps that need no fuel. That certainly speaks to his inherent power. The river out the back way is a pretty clever strat, using the fact that evil things and water don’t mix very well. He is also good friends with the people in Laketown and generally savvy about making trade deals: both of which help out his realm immensely. By the time of the War of the Ring, Mirkwood is barely holding on. The battle at Laketown during that war is basically a last hurrah: they were fully expecting to just fight to the last elf there. After the war, Celeborn comes to help with the rebuilding because the spiders trashed the place so hard. But then Celeborn eventually follows his wife over the sea. Whether Thranduil comes with him, we don’t know.
He doesn’t “resemble” them, he was around in the 1st Age. He didn’t do anything important back then, he was probably just a kid for much of it, but he was in fact there.

As usual, this is beautiful April Wind!
Thank you :)
Love your Thranduil vids, keep them coming.
so beautiful
This is honestly more epic than the entirety of TBOFA
看著瑟蘭督伊身先士卒奮勇殺敵的樣子只會讓我越來越愛他
Thrabduil is my favourite
Thranduil is the weakest of the Elven lords of Middle-Earth, perhaps...but, at the same time, also seems the most tragically humanized of them all...
his armies are the fewest, he is the best 1 on 1 fighter of Middle Earth as said by Peter Jackson
True

That's a freaking armor and he resemble the Eldar of the first age who were freaking powerful.
