It's so hard to get the Japanese boots where I live. So jealous you can go to a store in NY and get the Japanese stuff. Since these are made here in MN, I really wish they’d bring some of these to market here, particularly the Munson Ranger and the Klondike Beckman Flatbox. The Munson last would be welcome on every model for the additional comfort.

My favorite japanese exclusive red wings are my 9091 girard in black cherry featherstone. Going to pick up a 9060 when i go to Tokyo later in the month though.
i saw someone selling the Munson Ranger, and in my size 10.5D 🤩 but it looks pretty used and overseas shipping are pretty crazy nowadays, so I might search in Japan once the travel ban is over
I have a pair of RW 9185 Wabasha Copper Rough & Tough (intended for Japanese market). They were made in 2012 for a limited run, they are very unusual for RW and look very cool. 🙃
I worked at red wing, and can tell you that the Japanese RW consumers are incredibly quality focused - they send back so many shoes that would be considered “first” quality in the US lol 😂
9060 might be my favorite red wings of all time, tragically they aren’t made in my size and probably never will. Not many Japanese people needing size 13 or 12.5 I imagine...
For sure the JP market has a lot of amazing exclusive USA made products. I have a line on THE mocs I want for my first pair which are available in every region but the US. One thing is I’m not sure how easy it’ll be to find JP market boots and fashion at all in my size
Can I purchase the red engineer boots in the states? I think “Red Wing Japan” should open boutique style stores in Los Angeles and New York and maybe San Francisco. So that I don’t have to buy them directly from stores in Japan and ship them here myself. Lol
Pretty much what the other guy said, and even if lets say he lives in a state that allows gatherings without masks, he himself might have a compromised immune system or be in poor health/have direct family members or partner that are vulnerable. No issue in him wearing it.

Maybe he just had a cold. It's refreshing to see some of these youtubers wearing a mask on a collaborative video. I asked about it in the Stridewise/Rose Anvil and Nick said that it wasn't a big deal since RA already got covid. Then come to find out a couple weeks later RA and his entire crew got covid!!! Hoping they guys all got vaccine.
So let's face it very few boots are made here in America by Red Wing majority of them are made in foreign countries their construction and technology is ill-prepared for real working Americans or for that matter anybody who does any real work in the world comparing to real boots such as whites Westco he's a real boots movie the real American labor real American Products built distributed for Americans Red Wing is a horrible horrible company and anybody who buy the Red Wings to be ashamed of themselves
