I bought my card from Telkomsel at a local mall in Jakarta for far cheaper than the airport offered. Translation was handled via my phone and I was done and back shopping in 15 minutes.
Thank you for the great info. Couple of questions. Do they also switch the card for you in your phone and activate it right away or do you have to do that yourself? Also do you have to give them the IMEI number from your phone? and how much GB do you recommand for 2 weeks Bali?
Hey, I have 2 questions.. 1. does this plan come up with any call options like if i need to call any grab driver or any other local no, will it be possible? If no whats the plan for that. 2. Does this sim works in entire Bali and Nusa Penda?
@@عبدالعزيزالمسلم-ج4ك most sims or all tourist sims dont have call options. Only net. And that works fine. And yes it works in nusa penida. Just but the pre activated sims.
Can I buy a SIM Card late at night? We will arrive by 9 pm. Are the SIM-Shops still open and do I need to register my phone first or will they do this for me? Thank you
Hey i have a question about this card telecomsel can i use this card in Singapore too? We are before for 2 days in Singapore and then we are for 1 week in Bali ☀️Thanks so much 🤩
Cant find in the description if the 18GB sim u bought have all the GB for everywhere in indonesia. And get confirmation that dont have calls included. Cause the 18GB of XL are 8 Bali, 10 indonesia so can use all 18 in Bali or just 10 outside and have calls to XL included. Think that for traditional routes XL network can be good too.
@@watzbaer because sim card is temporary for unauthorized phone. If you permanently live in Indonesia, You can pay tax and register the phone to be Indonesia authorization.
Of course. Why would it not work? You dont even need sim card for that. Just wifi. May be sim card for an OTP may be but if installed already not even that
I bought this one and its not good at all. Im living in a big city in Bali and The network is slow and falls of often. Maybe Im unlucky but would not buy this again :/
i visited bali at last year 2022 in july/august and as i arrived at the airport iw anted to buy a sim card... i got disappointed bcs there was no stand anymore. all empty. they build it now again ? it would help me a lot to lknow bcs my sim card already expired i need to buy new one after i arrive. thanks for info
Plans are valid for 30 days. Once you run out of data you will not be able to use data at any speed until you buy more credit. This is cheap and easy anywhere in Bali.
Im going to visit indonesia next month, ill stay 15 days there, then ill fly back europe passing 12 hrs in singapore. Id like to have a sim card valid even there, cause i may need data for grab, google, etc. Any advice? Sim card in indonesia and esim in singapore? Which one in case? Just an esim for both? Help thanks
Indonesian here, I suggest you to use providers that already provide eSIMs to be purchased directly on their websites. At this moment, there are XL Axiata, Indosat Ooredoo, and Smartfren. I suggest Indosat, since it's the best among the three. Telkomsel at this moment doesn't have any eSIM option. PS: If you buy any of those providers, you can also buy roaming data package that can be used as well in Singapore. Cheers!

it's much cheaper to prepay your SIM card on the internet and pick it up in the airport or get delivered to your hotel. 25GB for 220k
How does this works exactly? I know i can order online, but which shop do i have to registrate to pick up in the airport?
Which website?

Yes away from the airport is cheaper
Does telkomsel have esim? How does it work?
Not at the moment.
Thank you for the video. dumb question did they swap sim card for you?
Yes. Or my tip: arrange a esim in your home country and a SIM card in the country you visit, so you won’t loose your SIM card.

Does telkomsel sim card includes phone calls & text messages or just data ?
You can add calling credit separately. See for more info link in description
