I am watching this program on Sept 2nd, 2021. I am 87 years old now and I listened to Billie Graham for most of my life. I recall one of my grade school teachers talked to our class about listening to little Billie Graham. May he rest in Peace.

I grew up knowing abt God but it wasn’t until 20 yrs later when I was sooo, lost did not want to live. But the Saviour found me saved me and my family. As a child I Ilistened to The Hour Of Decision every Sunday morning on RJR at 6:30 am. along with my mother, this was one of her favorite preachers and gospel programmes. Real truth came from Dr. Graham, as he begged people to come to Jesus. Messages are still relevant today as was in those early days. Thanks for the word so profoundly spoken even a child can understand. Jesus died to save us from sin. No longer here with us, but the gospel of Jesus Christ can still be heard across the world. Grateful for these sermons.

Polio was paralyzing kids, Asian Flu 1957 thru 1958, claimed 116,000 american lives, millions more died worldwide. Segregations were still a thing. The threat of WW3 was looming across the decade and so on. Every decade has its woes, it just depends how you look back at it.

I remember I was 14. Yrs old my father from our church Spanish baptist church Manhattan volunteered for the rally. I sat up in balcony. I will never forget that day. I still have my ticket . I grew up knowing abt God but it wasn’t until 20 yrs later when I was sooo, lost did not want to live. But the Saviour found me saved me and my family. Thank you Billy Graham ….many times I would see you on television and heard my parents ❤️for Jesus and sharing the Gospel and their love & appreciation for your ministry. As a child I Ilistened to The Hour Of Decision every Sunday morning on RJR at 6:30 am. along with my mother, this was one of her favorite preachers and gospel programmes. Real truth came from Dr. Graham, as he begged people to come to Jesus. Messages are still relevant today as was in those early days. Thanks for the word so profoundly spoken even a child can understand. Jesus died to save us from sin. No longer here with us, but the gospel of Jesus Christ can still be heard across the world. Grateful for these sermons.
I gave my life to Christ at one his Crusades in Kingston Jamaica in February of 1980.
This was 45 years before I was born and still resonates today.

2023 and I'm watching this for the first time at age 34. I'm a former New Yorker, I can't deny the emotion I feel watching him speak here. This sermon is astounding.

Billy Graham was one of a kind. There won’t be anyone like him again. Billy is awaiting the first ressurection like all the other saints.

Still is. America was never a 100 percent Christian nation nor was it ever meant to be. It's a nation that is completely free to make your own choices. Christian, Islam, judiasim, athiest, or anything else between. We give freewill and our citizens a choice, the same as God does and that's all you can hope for in a counry in my opinion

America still had it's bad times during the 1950s, as in any decade there will be problems. Korean War 1950-1953, killed 36,000 americans, wounded 100,000. Polio was paralyzing kids, Asian Flu 1957 thru 1958, claimed 116,000 american lives, millions more died worldwide. Segregations were still a thing. The threat of WW3 was looming across the decade and so on. Every decade has its woes, it just depends how you look back at it.
Now I understand why God Blessed America so SO MUCH. Because of people like these that praised God Almighty and they put God first in everything. Just by watching this video I get a very positive vibe of joy and happiness. Now days in 2020 you don't hear anyone talking about God on tv. Sad...

The year I was born. Isn’t it wonderful that the anointing on these sermons never leaves. The Holy Spirit is just as strong now as it was then ! Praise God who is everlasting and still using Billy Graham to reach people. Just as the words of Paul, Peter, James, and Moses still reach us. What an amazing Lord we serve ! Unbelievable. I just put a comment about when we were young and only had 3 channels and sat at the TV at 8 pm. I was in 1964. So I believe u r around that age. My parents took us to the coliseum Knoxville, TN. That's where we lived. I was very young maybe 4 or 5. But I was amazed . God bless you

They can say whatever they want to about Billy Graham but he is a man of God appointed Shepard of the Lord. To hear him preach even before my time they don't make preachers like that anymore. God knows His people and He picks the elects for their calling small or great we ALL have a calling from God and we must do His bidding to serve Him in obedience. Amen
