A Cold War Gone Hot scenario, mixed with realistic weapon and vehicle physics, seemingly endless ways to customize your units, and gameplay that brings me back to the RTS games I grew up playing. Your content sucks now that you don't bash me anymore. :P I also have not played this dumb game.
You also realize there is a way easier way to do what you were trying to get him to do at 7:00 to 10:00.... This is like the most click intensive, slow way to do it. You litterally double the number of buttons you have to press, and you have to move the mouse if you do it that way.
@@timhansen7201 If you have units in multiple transports (e.g. 2 uaz 2 btr) the tab key will group by transport, regardless of the contents

TBH he always refers to it tongue in cheek, making fun of precisely that fact. He also follows each joke up with disclaimers to make viewers understand that he certainly doesn't consider himself current enough or good enough now to be #1. It's just a good joke to milk.

This probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy these games a lot. Wouldn't mind seeing more of this personally
i started playing it a few days ago and although it has a steep learning curve it’s so much fun, expecially single player operations
Once you master Skirmish then get into Army General, it will make you feel like a real strategist
Saw Hippie's VOD of your entire session together! Makes me happy to see the different channels and content I enjoy crossing over. :D I could imagine the steam rising off your noggin when things got hectic, but you rode the chaos well enough to pull off that great YOLO move.

@@sixmonthgaze135 I really love the Slytherine studios and their games like ICBM, and in the case of broken arrowthey managed to make the main gameplay above my standards but the UI makes it look like a cheap Chinese knockoff of Warno. And also in Warno it's quite easy to understand what's going on but that's not the case with the broken arrow, the graphical design they went with looks realistic but not good too. Even though it's more detailed than Warno I can't enjoy it with their choices of color palettes. But yeah it's definitely a good game.
@@ferepido3172 I agreed with you the colors are too bright, and the icon choice is bad. Icon and HUD in WARNO is good because de game are more strategical rather that tactic
Hell yeah, I've been playing WARNO since early access came out and although the rocky start it has reach a state where it is honestly one of the best RTS games I've ever played.

Broken arrow
8:22 it's easier to do this with Tab to cycle through units you have selected. So you can do Tab Y Click, Tab Y Click, Tab Y Click to unload a bunch of guys in different places
Your method only works if they're all the same unit. If you box select e.g. 2 stingers and 2 Mech Rifles, pressing tab will alternate between selecting the 2 stingers and selecting the 2 mech rifles
Arma 3 has rts, first person and third person. There just is nothing better!
The RTS aspect isn't that great.

I mean cool but its a RTS game now if you were to go first person view and control a unit and walk around then it would truly be a good Milsim but because its a top down RTS Milsim you can't do any of that and that just makes not wanna play it .
