Having been raised in the Seattle, Washington projects in the 60's, I remember going to black a church & being the only white girl I stuck out like a sore thumb. I was welcomed & encouraged to sing. Living in a violent home, the church & it's people were my saving grace. This video brings back fond memories of my childhood :-)

There's Tony from Rufus on Guitar, Rose Stone on solo and whoever is on Drums, he's "whaling them skins", Of course the Choir is Outstanding esp w/ the last ending segment with that powerful soulful goose bump driving ending solo by the Sister that brought it home! I Love this song, only reason I bought the Ladykillers video! Great music on that movie. Don't sleep on it!

That hilarious evening all those years ago, in my youth, we were with a friend and a girlfriend watching this movie, and at the end repeating this video over and over again the rest of the evening, while making the same movements of the people in that choir, having some kindof private party and singing the text along with them! Memories! :-)

(Looks like they had fun, though I have to believe that his face got sore after a while, lol!)
