Olympic Saddledome: you’ve probably figured this out already if you’ve done the reasearch to list the buckle, but the Olympic Saddledome (now called the Scotiabank Saddledome) is an indoor arena in Calgary, Canada. The Dome Arena outside of Seattle (actually in an adjacent city) is called the Tacoma Dome. I drove past it today, while coming back from the city and it’s still one of the largest wooden framed domes in existence, holding 20,000 plus fans. It does sports events, concerts and used to do Monster Truck events in the past. It’s roof is a half sphere round dome. What looks like the Seattle Space Needle on the buckle is more likely the Calgary Tower.
Had no clue you were in the Air Force. Thanks for your service! Edit: Congrats Molly on first chair! I was in high school band and chair placements are very competitive.
OMG! As soon as I saw the nun the memories of Parochial school came flooding in! As the coffee cup says, I survived Catholic school!! Thus, I have only one displayed in my house. And it does not look anything like the one you shared. Mine is a wind up… as she walks across the surface sparks come from her eyes!!🤣😂🤣
I went to several estate sales Sunday around Baton Rouge and believe it or not, I saw a key that I would bet anything goes to one of those locks. I can't remember for sure which sale it was, I think it may have been the one that had the tables of mostly religious books under the carport. But anyway, there was a small key rack on the wall in the kitchen and the only key hanging on it was the type of key that fits those locks. I guess I noticed it and just found it odd since it's a type of key you don't see very often.
I don't do glassware but was at a sale last weekend and overheard people talking by the fiestaware that lilac color is supposedly a store exclusive, can't recall if it was burdines, macys, sears, some kind of big store like that.
There was a trend in jewelry making to stamp names etc on sheet metal for necklaces etc. not sure if it is still as popular. Those look a tiny bit small for leather? Not sure but as a crafter it was a cool find.
Stamping Set: those sets stamp soft metals, like brass or aluminum. Often called machineists stamps. Leather stamps usually have larger fonts. You’d loose the fine detail with 1/8” sets. The one with the point can stamp periods, colons or hyphens. Yes the 6 stamps the 9.
I agree - $30 is a lot to pay for fairly modern Boy Scout/Girl Scout stuff. I have Scout stuff from the 70s, 80s, 90s that have been hard sells for low prices. The older stuff does sell better.
It's the little things that keep me coming back and that contribute to my love and adoration for ur channel! Lonnie, I can't express my appreciation for ur correction when using an instead of a. I find that far too many ppl these days have absolutely no clue how to use the English language, nor are they able to write it very well. I am so sad that cursive isn't taught in schools anymore. Cursive is still one of my favorite ways to express myself and to translate beauty through a note or card. U know what I mean? I feel like it's just all slowly getting lost and forgotten by the wayside. Lol, I just had to take a moment and let u know that I see u and appreciate u! U too, Candace. U always take pride in ur research and grammar, and u don't let the important stuff slide. I find myself, to this day, correcting even the smallest mistakes I make in texts with an asterisk. It really bothers me if I just leave it, lol. Ok God, that's my 2 cents for the day. ✌️💜✌️💜
Wire Controlled Planes: When I was a kid, in the 60s and we graduated from the little balsa wood glider kits, some of the older kids whose parents had more money then sense bought their kids gas engine powered model planes that flew tethered by control strings. These were the airborne equivalent of gas powered tether cars and pre-dated Radio Control planes and cars. They were flown in a circle and the operator controlled the altitude with the control strings. As the small fuel tanks ran out of gas you brought them in for a landing. Big step up from balsa gliders, since some were in the 18” size range.
My family went to Saipan a couple of years ago. They mentioned that since it is an American territory, but still had Southeast Asian wages, they were able to slap a, “Made in America” tag on clothing and other textiles. Most of the labor force were immigrants from China and the Philippines on temporary visas. The finished products were not subject to import tax. I think they closed up that loophole in the early 2000’s so most of the factories have shuttered now.
N-Gage wasn’t bad but was ahead of the curve that ended up being an off-ramp where gaming systems did not become phones but instead phones came to play games. Often enough, those were often sold at Lovers or other truck stops alongside the books on tape (CD) so many would be sealed.
I went to that nutcracker estate sale! It was crazy, and too overwhelming. Beer steins everywhere, Elvis stuff, coca-cola items. I’ve never seen so many collections in one place. I didn’t buy a thing 😵💫
Way to go Molly!!! OMGosh! You guys had me LOL so hard. I was trying to play a game on my phone while listening to you on TV and I kept messing up because you kept cracking me up! Thanks for the laughs because I need them!
Lot of 56 Vintage Comic Books, Air Officers Guide 10th Edition. Marvel Legends Blue Variant Angel, Lot of 3 Champion Spark Plugs, Gaming RAZR Orb Weaver, Stanley Baker Oil Tool Tape measure, Hofbrau Beer Server Nutcracker. Thanks Lonnie and Candice Take Care Out
The orange fiesta should sell for more than $30 or $40. Unsigned Fiesta has a value $0.25 - 0.99 cents per piece. Fiesta isnt just signed but stamped into the clay. If I remember correctly many of the earlier pieces only have a trademark and / or U.S.A. they are most recognized for their disc shape pitchers. They came in yellow or turquoise or green having 2 sizes. Dont rely totally on comps because the older ones are definitely worth more than the modern ones. And certain features are rarer. The mark at the bottom is important for dating. Condition is key, any simple nicks or chips even if hidden decrease value. fiesta has a great history that sets them apart - at the table .... 👏 Happy Thankgiving .... all.
I hope you find some good news on the Fiestaware because I haven't ever seen plates without the rings on the outside. I thought they may be Bauer Pottery but looking those up tells me I am wrong on that, too. I don't know how you two do it, but you also seem to find some great items.
Lonnie's Mental Math Trick: Being able to do quick estimates on the fly is an important useful skill, so don't let her give you a hard time Lonnie. I do something similar for other odd percentages, like 15% or 5%. Use the easy percentage to figure, like 10%, then take half or add half. Works fast and on the go. We don't need no stinken calculator!
One idea for the 24 put ornaments: assuming all of them are in decent shape to be able to sell, do them as a lot of 24 and you could promote them as the baubles for a "Pug Advent Calendar." Only instead of opening little calendar doors to see what's inside, you can take them from the box and add them to your tree. If I were doing that - given the nice retail you'll get for them, I'd chase down some sort of a permanent storage box for them with 24 individual slots. If you have a small 2-3' tree sitting around you could use that as a photo pro[ and say "tree not included," or you could throw the tree in to make it a complete set, and jack the price a bit to cover the cost of the tree. "Mr. Retail Display" strikes again! LOL
Soap Bottle Dolls: my mom and Grandma had these type of dolls around in the 60s and on into the 70s. They're about the same age range as the crochet dolls, with big skirts, that hid the spare toilet paper rolls. If you want to date a specific bottle doll, uncover enough of the soap bottle to date the bottle itself since the dolls were often custom cut to fit on a specific bottle. If the bottle doesn't have an actual date on it, try using google lens to date the graphics. Now, as for thoughts about nuns, like Lonnie, I don't really want to go there in an open forum....
At my great-grandparents' house they had a soap bottle doll. The soap bottle was filled with sand, and she served as a doorstop. 🥰

Whoop! From an Albertan!
I work in accounting and the cut it in half twice cracked me up. My accounting brain said divide it by 4 and that is what you pay.
You can also stamp Metal for Metal smithing Jewelry
Hey lonnie and candice. The olympic saddledome is in calgary Canada and not seattle. And they are now getting ready to replace it soom
Had no clue you were in the Air Force. Thanks for your service!
Edit: Congrats Molly on first chair! I was in high school band and chair placements are very competitive.
I would happily buy those Case shears I looked on your store and I didn’t see them
Well Done Molly 👍💪💪💪. Loads of great items Lonnie & Candice And Lonnie Is The New Cookbook King 💪
I WOULD BUY THAT SNAKE TO, without a second thought!
when you pet the lock “it’s okay lockeee” i was dying laughing 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 great video as always
Amusing when I was small my sissy made dolls from Clorox bottles. Still have her.

I sell lots of vintage clothes. Id recommend using oxiclean to get rid of stains. Even with stains, vintage tees sell well.
Not sure if anyone has commented yet but the Olympic Saddledome is in Calgary, AB Canada (my hometown!) and is home to the Calgary Flames NHL team :)
It is NOT WEIRD to have a thing for nuns! I LOVE THEM TOO!

Funny Tech n Sports just mentioned NOS rubics cubes in his BOLO video.
The plates look like they are Harlequin by Homer Laughlin, same time period as Fiesta, just a cheaper line at the time.
Congrats to Molly - that's awesome!!
Ship’s Wheel Pin: it’s about the size and of a similar basic design of a US Navy Craftmaster Badge (pin).
Happy Thanksgiving guys! Have a great day!

Yes, same as the canned tuna business on American Samoa.
Oxy Clean is your friend for stains!

So out of curiosity, like we all do, i searched that vtg soap bottle and it looks like just the bottle sells for $20-$40 +ship
Midwest refineries will buy gold filled scrap. They won’t pay much but if you are sending them other scrap it makes sense to throw it in the box also.
Way to go Molly!!! OMGosh! You guys had me LOL so hard. I was trying to play a game on my phone while listening to you on TV and I kept messing up because you kept cracking me up! Thanks for the laughs because I need them!
The Saddledome is in Calgary, sorry it’s Canada!
Love being here!
grats on 1st chair, that's cool!
Congratulations Molly 😊 Super big news indeed, first chair WOW.... I'm so excited for you.
I had that Rolling Stones shirt - I bought it in Miami at the Orange Bowl concert in 1989. It’s been long gone 😩
Hmm, looks like the Air Farce had better field jackets than us ground slugs. : )
I can actually fit into the purple converse sneakers lol
We had a pair like those glasses, but they sunglasses and we sold them within 48 hrs for $169.95.
I sold one of those Rolling Stones t-shirts for $150. I used a little bleach and it came out white.
That belt buckle is from Calgary Alberta Canada not Seattle
The Saddle Dome is in Calgary and that is not the a Space Needle
Happy for Molly and her accomplishment. 😀

Calgary tower looks bit like space needle, Saddle dome is in Calgary, looks like Olympic stuff.
75% off = paying 25% so just divide the price by 4. $24/4=$6. 😊.

The stains may add value.
That Yale pad lock may be worth something
Lonnies talked about gold now a few times. The man’s getting gold fever heh heh
I'm sure you know but just in case, they will still sell with stains
Sherlock Holmes theory, I believe you.
Such awesome buys! 👏👏💖 p.s. Congratulations, Molly. ⭐⭐🎉💐🥇🎵🎼🎶
34:50 Really like your ring Candance.
It's Angel from the Xmen. Sentenal series
Lonnie I enjoy your videos and Im wishing you and the family a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
Those look like machinist stamps for marking serial numbers.
Those soap bottles sell for pretty good money! $25-30. Put the nun on some other bottle you have. Some great scores today!
I'd think in this case some of the value is in the bottle, helps date it

How many comics are in a lot ?
One Step Divide By 4
He’s called Angel
For 75% off, I just calculate a quarter for every dollar lol
Just an idea if you encounter a price not easily divisible by 4
Ngage is a Nokia phone Game i have this phone
👍
Here's a tip for you Lonnie, if you want to leave a 20% tip, just take 10% of the total and double it. =)
I haven't watched the whole video so I can't tell if this is a joke.
Congratulations Molly 🎉
Not 1st today was at Walmart 😢
Regarding the belt buckle, the 1988 Olympics was in Calgary, Alberta Canada Lonny!
Lonnie, You have the 1849 Gold Fever!!!
Listen closely here friend, Get yo'self to a doctor ASAP!!!
Why not just divide by 4 Lonnie? 😂
Just an idea if you encounter a price not easily divisible by 4
Thumb nail got me...click
75% come on you can’t figure out 25% of something ? Lol decide the number by 4 and that’s your total
Just an idea if you encounter a number not easily divisible by 4.

The Boys Scouts have (or had) a nautical group too, it was called the Sea Scouts.
