I think the most amazing part of this channel is just seeing (and hearing) how your style and skill (and yes, production value) have evolved from the early videos to this one and to now. So much of your music is so beautiful, but this was a stand-out. Absolutely breathtaking.
I was at her live concert in amsterdam yesterday evening it was a great concert i met her after the concert where we talked and she is very nice, afterwards she signed my cd's.
I am a real fan of Lindsey Stirling, and I discovered your channel with "Frozen" i have to admit that i really loved it, then i started to watch most of your videos, and I won't stop. I also love this original song "Awakening" full of energy, you have to keep making originals songs! It's not because i'm fan of Lindsey that i can't listen to your songs with lot of pleasure. Great video, Taylor! The more I listen to this track, it feels like a fanfare for a movie, or a main theme for a video game. It's got a lot of drive to it. I'm definitely looking forward to more of your original works!

This song is amazing. It sounds as if the universe itself was just waiting for you pick up the violin and show its true beauty through the meaning of sound.
Hi Taylor, I think the best part of this track Awakening are the 1st 85 seconds or so. The track starts out very strong especially 0:25 to 0:48. I really like your playing along with the synth pluck build with the low horn drones on that part. I think 1:25 through to the chorus at 2:00 is much more of something you'd hear in a movie score. The focus on those parts movies away from your playing and more on the orchestration. The production on Awakening just might be the best yet out of all of your uploads. I think what makes Nebulous a stronger track is that the violin melody lines are more interesting and catchy. I am able to remember and sing in my head all of the violin lines of Nebulous. I love the chorus of Nebulous it's insane! Where as the chorus to this track ( the yellow wheat field part ) is more of an exciting violin riff if you know what I mean. I found the violin parts are much more in the forefront on Nebulous. On future tracks to make sure that the orchestration does not overpower your violin playing as I think it should be the focus. As far as the video goes I think it's your 2nd best video after gerudo valley. All of the shots are great. Very good upload Taylor! THUMBS UP.

Miss Davies all I can say is you have awakened in me my passion to restart tuition on this beautifully haunting instrument. I left it as a child to play around with others (yet not master a single one) I've watched a quite a lot of your videos now and most are breathtaking! the violin is in my eyes an instrument you need to have experienced pain and sorrow for it to truly sing. I'm not saying that I agree nor disagree with your opinion, but I do agree that Lindsey does more modern songs while Taylor does more 'oldschool'. I also wouldn't say that either is better than the other (because that's how most internet fights start), what I would say, however, is that they both have talent, and is amazing at what they do. Plus people have different preferences and some might like more modern songs while others prefer more 'oldschool' songs. P.S if I have any grammar errors feel free to correct them.

Miss Davies all I can say is you have awakened in me my passion to restart tuition on this beautifully haunting instrument. I left it as a child to play around with others (yet not master a single one) I've watched a quite a lot of your videos now and most are breathtaking! the violin is in my eyes an instrument you need to have experienced pain and sorrow for it to truly sing. I shall now be purchasing one myself as now is the time to re-establish my love for it.......... keep up the incredible work
Taylor....... maybe it's just me, but I think original music shows a lot more of your talent than the covers. All of your videos are excellent, but Awakening and Nebulous are so far your two best videos so far.

I like her, as well as i like lindsey. however..i think i like lindsey more because of her energie. Thats something i kinda miss in Taylor. But Taylor always smiles while playing which is great to watch! i smile because she smiles :)
Energy??? Her performance is pretty energetic if you ask me. What do you want to see, she banging her violin into the tree and scream? This is violin not metal guitar. But I agree on the smile part :)

Awesome song! :) And people that compare her to lindsey..cmon. Lindsey is doing more pop and what i would call mainstream, sure she is good and some songs are great. But her dancing is getting all the same. And to be honest i just like Taylor more, she´s doing more oldschool :)
I'm not saying that I agree nor disagree with your opinion, but I do agree that Lindsey does more modern songs while Taylor does more 'oldschool'. I also wouldn't say that either is better than the other (because that's how most internet fights start), what I would say, however, is that they both have talent, and is amazing at what they do. Plus people have different preferences and some might like more modern songs while others prefer more 'oldschool' songs. P.S if I have any grammar errors feel free to correct them.
