Hey emily...i wanted to let u know that ur words”u r not failing,it’s all too much” went right through my heart..with a preschooler and a baby i was literally sobbing in front of my husband just an hour ago and felt like a failed mom... Thanks emily for being so kind 😌
I can totally relate to feeling sad and worrying. Especially when you hear/read that there is no guarantee that they will even go back before the summer! Unfortunately anything is possible with this unpredictable situation but children are so adaptable and resilient and they will be just fine. I have 6 year old twin boys and I can totally relate but there are children missing years of education living in war zones. I came to the UK from a war torn country at the age of 7 and was just thrown into primary school at the age of 7 without knowing a single word of English and I have a University degree and a good job. We will all get through this somehow 💪🏼🙏🏼 where there is a will, there is a way 🌈
“I’m fine, it’s fine, everything is fine” 😅 You got this girl! Emily you are such an inspiration to me and so many moms out there. You inspired me to start my channel a year ago. I love having something that is fun and challenging outside of work or being a mom. Plus recording the special moments. Thank you for sharing your world with us ❤️
Deep breaths everyone! I felt the emotion in this and can very much relate. I'm on my own with my two and have pretty much decided as long as we come out the other side of this smiling, I'm doing ok.
I don't have school age children so I am able to send mine to daycare. I CANNOT fathom how you mama's are doing homeschooling. My husband and I both work full time with no family close to us to help. We would drown. All you homeschooling parents are THE heroes in this pandemic, taking care of the most precious population - the next generation! You are all champions ❤️
I am a second year uni student and have been fully online for 5 months now (learning, extra circular and social events) and it is so tough! It is definitely not the uni experience I expected and feel I’m really missing out. Loved this video showing everyone is finding things hard. Love from Scotland.
From staying home and spending so much time with you and Matt, your boys will learn how to be super organised, thoughtful, responsible and amazing family men🤗
This video is such a mood! It's exactly what I'm feeling in this 2nd wave... often just gritting my teeth through mild panic while saying "It's fine... yeah, we're FINE!" You got this Emily! Right there with you!
Emily- I am a a level student and honestly homeschooling myself is a struggle so goodness knows how you do it with three cute little boys- just wanted to comment that I love your content even though I’m not a mum or anything! Love just watching your videos they always make me feel happier and calmer- thank you x
This really lifted my spirits, I’m dreading homeschooling again (starting Monday in Scotland). I don’t have the same energy for it as I did last time). I’m stealing your lunch and snack ideas. So inspiring that you still find the energy to work out. Keep up the good work, you are such a blessing to your family.
This made me teary. It is all too much. That said I think because you guys are such dedicated parents that your kids will be ok. They’re loved, played with, they have their siblings, they have a nice yard and outdoor outings, and good meals. The poor little ones that have negligent, or worse abusive parents. That really makes my heart hurt.
Lockdown here in Ontario, Canada, as well..... I am mentally fried! The main thing about homeschool that I like is that these kiddies do not need to be sitting in a classroom masked up for the day. They are home, comfy, and relatively sane! Good luck, mama. We are all trying our best. xo
We are going through this too, you are doing AMAZING. Thank you for making these videos to get us through the day and know we are not alone in this crazy time!
Hi Emily, just wanted to say I have never come across anyone so organised as you! You have a routine and stick to it. I think when you have kids a routine is a must. My one and only daughter is 23 so my days of school organisation are long gone. Wishing you very best wishes to you and yours x
Hang in there mama - we can all do this. My uncle is a maths tutor, and has stressed to my husband and I, that as long as we keep up with the ‘3 R’s’ everything else can be caught up on. We are giving ourselves grace and focusing making this crazy time as positive as we can for our sons. Stay safe.
Thanks for expressing your concerns. I don't feel like I hear moms expressing about how lock down is affecting our children and how worrying that is. Lovely vlog as always, Emily. Thank you for sharing!
Emily, sending you a big hug! You smashed the first day of homeschooling! I can’t imagine how stressful this all is... I admire your positive attitude and how organized you are! Having a teething baby now at home, I enjoy so much watching your videos and getting some motivation from you
Remote learning is hard! Being a parent and a teacher was too much - we did it for 7months here in Melbourne. Sending hugs, I’ve aged a lot last year! Towards the end, whatever we can finish by lunch time is enough!
I am so sorry Emily, keeping your families spirits up in this time. It’s a huge burden to carry. We have been through 2 lock downs in Australia so far and home schooled through 2 full school terms. And it was absolutely horrible. To see my daughter get depressed from not having any social interaction and myself being spread so very thin from looking after my younger son and her. Thinking of you all, stay strong I wish you all the best xx
I love your honesty Emily. I'm a school teacher and have to go into work, sending my own children back to school and nursery. It's so hard for us all. We can only do our best 💘 😻 💜
Oh Emily, it is so hard going back into home schooling and lock down during the winter. The same thing happened to us here in Melbourne in our winter 2020, lock down from June through to October. I have 3 children too. It’s a lot! I hope you do what you need to to get through and be kind to yourself. That goes for everyone in the UK, thinking of you all!
We all say we are in this together but when your at home with the kids and keeping up with the rest of life It can feel stressful, but a vlog like these shows we really are and if we kept talking we can do another few months. This time it maybe be over. Loads of love x x x
Hey Emily! You are Matt are doing an amazing job! Sending big love from Australia. Our lock down where I am was quite short in comparison but I was juggling a young baby, a Kindergartener and a year 2 child. My husband still needed to go into work so I was on my own. Those few months were hard enough so I can imagine it must be so hard for you guys. I'm a teacher, although on leave at the moment with my youngest. Here's how I thought about it all. School is 6 hours yes, but, there are class messages, show and tell, reading, transitions between activities and a lot of repeated instructions in a day. The actual number of minutes of direct teaching and active learning works out to be just a fraction of that time. In theory without all the extra things kids do in a day at school, with less distraction and just focusing on the important tasks they should not be needing so much time doing school work. It will obviously depend on how your schools are running things but I found we could get through my daughters work in just 2 to 3 hours- not including reading time. Also it was nice to have no homework 😊 Hope you are okay. Remember our kids are so resilient. Keep positive and continue encouraging them. I hope to see UK numbers down really soon!
Hiya I have a 9yr old, 6yr old and 3yr old. We only do homeschool in the morning because I like to get try and get them out for some exercise in the afternoon, then my eldest plays online with his friends/cousins after 3pm. We've also opted to send our 3yr old to nursery as she normally would (3 days) and that has really helped. It is sad for the little ones as they are making their first memories right now, so lockdown is the first thing they will remember! Good luck to you xx
Hey Emily. My 16 month old didn't get to go on a swing at the park until a couple weeks ago and now we're back in lockdown. It just feels to me like a such a basic thing I took for granted when my older ones were little. It feels like she's growing up in a different world. Adults with their faces covered etc. Stay safe
I love coming here for your positivity and realness. You inspire me to slow down and enjoy my kids, yet also get up and clean the house 😉 Also, watching your videos reminds me to take care of me, too. Taking the kids to the park, getting some extra steps in, getting back into my home workouts, eating healthier...so important! Thanks for the inspiration 💓💓💓
Absolutely love your videos. You are a real inspiration. My daughter was born the first week of lockdown in March. She is almost a year and it breaks my heart that I have not been able to do much with her. My son is two and he is also missing out. I guess we are all in this together. And thank you Emily for your tips. You really motivate me to become a better mom.
You're such a good mom Emily. I loved hearing lil Jackson talk. So cute with his "baby" voice with his little English accent. That is the most precious age. So sweet and learning so much❤
You will cope Emily, you and Matt are a great team. After a few days the boys will get used to their new home school routine. So glad to see you workout and make time for you, it’s important to look after yourself first. I once trapped my daughters fingers in the car door, it was horrible 😞
LOVE this video, it make me feel not alone how to do home school and everything else .My husband is working in another country, so I am alone, it is hard i think, but i always try to smile and be positive.
I admire you all. I'm exceptionally lucky to be in New Zealand where life is basically normal. I cannot imagine what you're all going through, you're amazing and let's just hope you're out the other side soon xx
So Emily...totally relating like the others to your anxiety and confidence At the same time...it’s the second time round BUT it was hard the first time juggling home schooling and children in the same space....it looks like you nailed week 1 so taking 1 week at a time rather then xx no. weeks left might be an easier way to get through the week....loving the content and natural ness of your videos...Ive had to go back 2 years ago to find out “things to keep the children entertained....using balloons and wooden spoons, we played lava this morning....and also really like the meal planners....you make this look easy 😩 but you have been an inspiration for the first lock down week THANK YOU.x
Hi Emily, your videos are really helping in this worrying time. I have 3 kids, a 7 and 5 year old who are both being homeschooled, and a 4 month old. I’m trying so hard to stick to a schedule but it’s proving really difficult with my little one, who is going through the 4 month sleep regression. Been up since 6am with all 3 so having a relaxing hour whilst the baby sleeps. Anyway, hope you all stay safe and the kids go back to school after the Feb half term. X
I feel for you. Can’t imagine having 3 kids at home at all times. I have only one child and I am so grateful she can be at the nursery whilst I am working from home. You are a super mum🥰Sending big hugs.
Omg Emily I know exactly how you feel...In Greece they are opening schools on Monday again after one and a half month of homeschooling...at the beginning it was difficult to find the right way to do this, with several difficulties included such as bad connections, fail to log in ,all the kids talking at the same time etc...but eventually it went smoothly...dont worry.. older children understand the situation..I'm really sad for my youngest, same age as Jackson..he says all the time mum tv has the coronavirus on again !!!(I dont watch tv anymore cause it scares me as well..)let's pray for all this to end soon !!! It's a global mess at the moment!!!
I totally feel you im home schooling 2 boys with a 2 year old who has spent half her life in lockdown and doesn’t understand why she can’t go out and wants constant attention, it’s got to the point where there is so much school work that I have been forgetting to eat just desperately trying to get it all done. I hope you are coping through all this 😊xx
Hi Emily, just binge watching your videos and really enjoying them. You and Matt are such good caring parents and you are doing your very best. Please keep them coming. It is so good for things to be back to normal. Take care xxxxxx
Hi Emily! Your video are getting better and better... The content, the shooting, the editing, the music....everything is perfect and you can see it's made with love
You are amazing Emily, doing so well. Don't worry about the kids missing anything. As long as you are all safe. This is what really matters now. Stay positive and safe. You are inspiring everyone who is watching you :)
I’m in Montreal and we are starting again too a total lockdown. It’s really depressing. My baby is two year’s old and it’s now half of her life and it broke my heart as well. Can’t wait for my mum to have the vaccine. Sorry for my poor english. My first language is french. I really love your videos. You help me to be a better mum.
I’m in north Wales and finding home schooling my 7 year old son so stressful! Especially with a 9 month old baby, the first lockdown she was newborn so slept a lot but not this time! If I don’t laugh myself thru the day I will cry! Hopefully we will all get there, reminding myself there are people a lot worse off than us 💕
My baby was born at the start of the first lockdown too, your comment clicked with me that he’s nine months now and much trickier than newborn that sleeps a lot! Thank you lol was wondering why I was finding it harder. Good luck with the home schooling
Hi Emily! Love your channel and I really needed the distraction today(I live in the US). Thanks for your candor. I have a six year old and a three month old and the struggle is real. My six year old is really struggling with being home from school and it’s nice to know we aren’t the only ones. Keep up your work because it’s an inspiration. 🥰❤️
Hi Emily, I think this time is not only weird, but frightening... I hope we'll all get out of this well and sane soon.... I have 3 children too - 6, 9 and 13 - but it's FAR TOO MUCH for us families and parents. We are not well.
I absolutely love this video xx it's so hard homeschooling and doing every thing tahts needed to be done. But it's nice to see that were all in the same boat even tho it feels so different this time .
That’s what I thought Isabel! Guys, we are in this together! It’s very isolating and I felt so much reassurance that I’m not messing it up, watching this video!! Thanks Emily, you really are keeping us going! X
Oh, your facial expression by saying „We can do it. Can we do it?“ made me laugh so so much. It‘s so so hard at the moment, I‘m currently five month pregnant, my boyfriend (and father of my kids) and me just broke up and I‘m currently taking care of my three years old daughter all by myself...and besides all this: HOMEOFFICE. Yay! But: WE CAN DO THIS! 😉😚 lots of love from Germany
Love Bridgerton! Such a good series. I started The Queen’s Gambit and so far its good too! Good luck with the home schooling. My two little ones are still too young for school so I’m glad I’m not having to try to home school.
I really feel what you were saying at the beginning about how Jackson has been in lockdown for such a large portion of his life. I feel the same way about my 3 year old daughter. At the beginning of lockdown she seemed so young and largely oblivious to what was going on, but now, really in the last 3 months, she's starting to clue in... not being able to see our family for Christmas, not being able to see her friends regularly. It's really breaking my heart.
Your kids seem to be coping so well and taking everything in their stride! You really hit the nail on the head though this is having such an impact on the kids and they deserve so much in return for the massive sacrifices they’re making 💙 I hope you’re all doing well! You looked so stressed in the car 🥺 xx
Isn’t it just! We started homeschooling again today! Trying to juggle homeschooling and looking after two munchkins with work and my head feels like it’s going to explode! You’re doing so well! Inspiration!!! Stay safe lovely 😘
Emily, I can’t even imagine you and thousands of other parents are coping. My children are grown and I honestly think I might lose my mind if I had to home school. One of my daughters hated school and just getting her to get her homework was an absolute nightmare! Sending lots of love! xx
I have a 23 month old and due my second baby in 4 weeks! Live in Scotland so also in lockdown - trying to keep my little one amused with the little energy i have. It's so slippy outside so we can't even go a walk 🙄🥰
I think we all need medals as mums right now, watched this today on day 3 of home schooling with a 2 year old to meet the demands of too and I’m cracking up and have done nothing but reach for the biscuits and chocolate. Not being able to get anything done around the house is stressing me out too! Big love to you x
Here in Israel we start our third lockdown 🤦 the second one was with half part studying. Now all the kids are home again. I really understand how you're feeling
I live in USA we have been doing virtual since March of last year by now I think we’ve adapted and we have a routine. I had to leave my job to be with my kids some days go Smooth and some have it is hard moments but we will make it through . You got this ❤️🙏🏻
Happy parents = happy children. This is the main thing our children need throughout their life. Sometimes we take a break from home schooling and focus on being a family. You’re doing your best but we can’t be perfect
Wow that was incredible. So real and I think exactly how a lot of people’s day went. I will keep my girl home from next week. She’s celebs age and I work full time from home now. Wish me luck!
Poor Jackson, hopefully, he will be able to have some more interaction outside of the home soon. I had my son at the beginning of 2020. He turns one tomorrow and it feels like he has only had like a month out of lockdown. I know everyone says it's worse for the older kids because they know the difference but I worry for all the little ones that are losing out on early life skills thanks to covid. Best of luck with your home schooling Emily. Your as awesome as always, never forget it.
So good to see this, as a teacher it really makes me think about the work I am setting for home schooling. I am also enjoying Bridgeton and my blanket hoodie too :)
With me being in secondary school I haven’t started homeschool yet not until next week but I’m beyond great full that my mum works from home which is a big help because it’s a different way of learning take care lots of love xx
I feel you girl I have been remote learning since the very beginning in March. Definitely starting to worry about these kiddos and the social skills that they desperately need.
Ooo yay can't wait for this!! Love watching your family days 🥰 I have an 18 month old so been checking out your updates from when Jackson was little - boys are great! Hope your all coping okay! X
Hey super mum!! I feel you on this latest lockdown. I LOVE how organised you are and you have inspired me. Thank you for your candid thoughts on this, take care! 💜 (Also, Matt’s beatbox is surprisingly good!! 🤣🤣🤣)
You are amazing and so organized! Here in Armenia they just divided each class into 2 parts and children go to school every other day including Saturday. My kids are in a private school and they actually never stoped going to school every day because the school could organize their day in a more or less safe environement. You can imagine, when you live in a small apartment and your children are studying online and you are working online at the same time, it can be a disaster )). It's nice you have working space for everyone 🤩
Great video Emily. You will manage just fine with the homeschooling. You seem to be very patient. We are lucky here in newfoundland Canada the kids are still going to school.
Hi Emily, well your doing great especially getting that work out in too don’t know how you did it. Not had a moment to myself it’s took 4 attempts to watch this as I have 3 year boy and I’m a teacher , teaching online all day it’s breaking me , still not got over the last one. Stay strong your doing great. X
Like you I also have three boys - 12,6 and 1 year. It’s hard going , I also work for myself. We can only do what we can do. This made me feel much better so thank you xx
I am in the us and we are on virtual learning for 2 weeks after the brake and I am juggling a pre schooler and 4th grader( who is special needs) and 6th grader on line from 7:30-1:30 . Along with a 2 yr old and feel like I am drowning at times . My kids love in school learning .
Loved that vlog.:). We are in full lockdown here in Toronto too (as I’m sure you know from your sister) and it’s so nice to see how others are coping. I hope calebs fingers feel better! Poor cutie! Your workout commitment is inspiring:) xo

Virtual high five for working out even when you don’t feel like it! I’ve been doing the same with my new workout commitments 👍🏼
I feel for you. Can’t imagine having 3 kids at home at all times. I have only one child and I am so grateful she can be at the nursery whilst I am working from home. You are a super mum🥰Sending big hugs.
Love your videos. Stay safe and best of luck with home schooling! 👍
Great idea with same rhythm like in the school , with lunch packed...wish you strength and patience for homeschooling.
Ah your poor little one, I feel for them I really do 😢 Thank you so much for watching and stay safe Gelly xx
I relate to this. You are not alone.😩💗
Ahhh Emily, I love how authentic you are in your videos, I feel it’s so needed at the moment- thank you!!!! 😘😘
Totally agree with the last comment
Her voice is so soothing and reassuring lol. She looks amazing!!!!
Super mom and dad! Your kids are so blessed to have such devoted parents! Good work to you both!
Hi Emily,
I think this time is not only weird, but frightening...
I hope we'll all get out of this well and sane soon.... I have 3 children too - 6, 9 and 13 - but it's FAR TOO MUCH for us families and parents. We are not well.
You made that extremely busy day look so easy! I’m sure it wasn’t! Thanks Emily inspirational as always x
We are definitely in this together Isabel! Stay strong. Thank you so much for watching and stay safe xx
Thanks for the video Emily, I so needed it. I hope tomorrow is a better day with homeschooling. Goos luck to you and all parents around the world.
I never tire of your beautiful English accents. Especially the kids...precious! 🤗❤️
As I’m watching the video it already looks amazing stay safe xx
Ur inspirational Emily. Positive vibes. We can do this Emily. Stay strong
Your kids seem to be coping so well and taking everything in their stride! You really hit the nail on the head though this is having such an impact on the kids and they deserve so much in return for the massive sacrifices they’re making 💙 I hope you’re all doing well! You looked so stressed in the car 🥺 xx
Every thing will be alright in the end. If it’s not alright it’s not the end . Hang on in there x
Love when your husband makes a beat sounds and your son just dances. ❤
I think we all need medals as mums right now, watched this today on day 3 of home schooling with a 2 year old to meet the demands of too and I’m cracking up and have done nothing but reach for the biscuits and chocolate. Not being able to get anything done around the house is stressing me out too! Big love to you x
You're so blessed! A beautiful home, a loving husband, and three wonderful kids. 💝💝💝
You got this mama! Such a strange year but we will get through this 👏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽
Poor Jackson, hopefully, he will be able to have some more interaction outside of the home soon.
Hi Emily , I love the new house I cant wait to see it when its all done. Hopefully we'll get through it all , stay safe x
Thank you so much for watching and stay safe Alannah xx
So good to see this, as a teacher it really makes me think about the work I am setting for home schooling.
I am also enjoying Bridgeton and my blanket hoodie too :)
Your are my mooooost favorite youtuber. You inspire me alot. Thank you for your videos. Stay safe.
With me being in secondary school I haven’t started homeschool yet not until next week but I’m beyond great full that my mum works from home which is a big help because it’s a different way of learning take care lots of love xx
Just finished Bridgerton. Good luck with the new routine! (Again) rollercoaster life.
I feel you girl I have been remote learning since the very beginning in March. Definitely starting to worry about these kiddos and the social skills that they desperately need.
This was on of my fav videos. Great seeing someone else in lockdown. Love your content Emily xxx
You do a lot of work!!! You are an awesome mommy I wish you the best
What an amazing mum you are honestly I’ve been watching you from the start you give me so much inspiration and positive energy you go girl x
Ooo yay can't wait for this!! Love watching your family days 🥰 I have an 18 month old so been checking out your updates from when Jackson was little - boys are great! Hope your all coping okay! X
Go Emily, well done for getting through it and I hope you stay motivated, which I am sure you will by your general spirit. Take care
Where is that table from where Jackson was playing lego? Love the storage underneath! ❤️

Thank you so much for watching and stay safe xx
Ah never a dull moment Emily, hope your little boys fingers are ok xx
Wonderful job. Healthy food choices. TY for sharing.
Thank you so much for posting. Keeping it real Emily. Can't believe we're facing this again. Just grateful that we're well. Stay safe x

I won't be clicking on unknown links.
Have been binge watching your videos while I take town Christmas decor!
Hii emili
Everytime am tired of doing chores
I think of your video and i get energy to start again take care
Loved that vlog.:). We are in full lockdown here in Toronto too (as I’m sure you know from your sister) and it’s so nice to see how others are coping. I hope calebs fingers feel better! Poor cutie!
Your workout commitment is inspiring:) xo
Wow good job👏🏼you will manage all very well I think in your norris palace😉
Hi Emily both you and Matt are such good parents. You boys are lovely, hope Caleb’s fingers are a bit better now x
