Not sure what you mean by custom drawing tools...do you mean the quick links at the top of the chart? If so, I go through that in this video (toward the end). I also go through changing the chart color, but in brief, to change the chart color go to Chart Settings....Appearance...Click on the square next to "Background"...More...then you can choose whatever color you want for the chart. ^BM
