What a wonderful milestone. To know you started the channel only as a recovery for your cancer and now the channel has blessed you with 150k subs. Amazing how life works.
Mr. M recently did a video with Frank, and my first reaction was how is Mr. M going to keep up? But he had Randy with him so that was good. Frank and his wife roped down the shaft quite a ways, so Mr M did a schozilator style camera lower down there. Can't wait to see those guys with you again someday Gly. Congrats for the 150K!
Sure, leave us hanging. 😎 Congrats on the 150k. Show us the critters. Can't wait for the new drone to get flying. Might get some good shots of my desert cousins. 🐿
hahhaha Frank will test your Metal ....he goes everywhere . I thought you were gonna show a box of Blasting caps ....that will get your attention ....be safe out there sonny Jim Congrats on the 150k my friend
Congrats on 150K , you deserve it with this great channel with the best mine exploring content hands down. Enjoying the look back on old shows, great memories of shows that were viewed many months / years ago. Be safe on your Nevada ‘colab’ !
Can’t wait for the Collab with the Big Three of mine exploration. Nothing but the best from the best. Jeff and Gly, my absolute favorites, add Frank? Bam!!! A blast from the past!!!
That was awesome. Leaving us hanging, way to go Gly. Congrats on the 150k and more. Nice looking drone. Oh boy a brand new toy to play with. B safe on uour grand adventures and love and hugs.
Congratulations on 150,000 subscriber Gly, thank you for all the hard work you, Mr M and Randy put into the videos and Gly no word of a lie your videos make my Saturdays, your constantly evolving the channel with all of the gadgets and your camera quality is always crisp and clear. Gly is there a mine in any other countries you would love to film in.
Awesome job Gly on 150 and I will include Mr. M. We in Ontario Canada love your channel. You're great at all you do. Our favorite introduction was with the snake that follows behind you into the mine. I hope the future brings you much health and lots of exploring. Hopefully Mr. M will be along side you. Randy. I like your interest in exploring. I would be doing the same as you.
Congrats to 150K subscribers in three years Gly! I have been a subscriber since episode 75 maybe.. Not sure. It’s awesome to see how much your channel has grown since then. Keep going my friend.
150k subscribers, a superb achievement. Well done Gly. Ive been subscribed almost from the launch. You have developed the content so much. knowing a lot more about the mines histories and geology is still, for me, one of the big interests.
Super achievement Gly! Did you ever think 150K was even possible? Somehow I know you are going to surpass what you have already achieved. Can’t wait to see you Jeff, Frank and perhaps some other names we don’t know yet. Please greet Randy and Mr. M for us. Stay safe, cheers!
Love these recap videos. Looking forward to seeing the footage you’ll be able to get with your new drone. Congratulations for hitting 150k subs Gly, you deserve it!
Gly, I’m so glad you are so strict on dynamite. It’s the same concept as “not pointing a firearm at something you don’t intend to kill or destroy.” Even if you know that weapon is unloaded, you still don’t point it at someone. Maybe the weapon is even partially disassembled… you still don’t point it at someone! Just like that, we should all simply agree on this. You just don’t mess with dynamite!
Locally two teenagers shot into an old dynamite storage building and it blew up and both young men were killed.⚡💥 Don't mess with old dynamite.💥⚡ Looking forward to watching you and Frank and Jeff ( and maybe Mr. M. and Randy) explore some old mines. Stay safe and happy hunting. Cheers 🍺🍺🍺🍺🧔
Awesome man, can't believe it's been 3 years!!! Been here since the beginning and love it. You've come a long way brother!! So happy for ya on the amount of growth your channel has had. As always stay safe and stay strong out there
It's been a Great! Three years Gly! 👍 Long way since your first video! But the adventure has continued to just get better and better! There's a lot of You Tubers out there but only a rare few who have the passion that you have to bring us historical videography of our fast degrading mining history. Can't wait to see you with Jeff! So you know what I'm gonna say! Let's! Goo!!! 👍🇺🇸
“Gly”: I’m pretty darn excited. Thanks to my subscribers I have all the tools necessary now to really take this to the next level of production. This coming summers exploring season will be exceptionally fun.
I'm happy for ya man, and congratulations! You have great content and quality, I'm a caver and know that you have a lot of light to get the shots you get. It continues to impress. The drone will be very useful addition to the team, keep up the great work my friend. Cory, Victoria BC, Canada
Hahaha lmao … the missus was like did Gly just do that to me, left me hanging! 🤦 .. lol it’s 👌 she’ll get over it 😆 … she looks forward to her AFP fix every Sat. 👍 .. ✌️🤙
Episode 38 was the first one I could watch all the way to the end. Frank scared the heck out of me watching the way he plowed through. That one was the worst for me. Too much rubble!
Most of these operations closed long before there were cleanup requirements. When a modern operation is closed they remove everything including buildings.
@@j.a.7764 We had a request-for-comment on an underground mining operation in my state (where we have lots of mining but are also rather hard-assed about protecting the environment, due to problems from old-time mines), and I read the whole proposal. I was amazed at all the mitigations, including refilling every tunnel (no surface waste piles) and concreting 'em to restore rock stability, water diversion so no leeching from the mine, etc. If you weren't down in the mine while it was running, you'd never even know it was there, that's how thorough cleanup was laid out. And it will be enforced, cuz we do that nowadays.
I was watching the "yellow rope saga" and had an idea for some new gear for you to take a look at: arborist or tree cutters are often in a position where they need leverage with their legs to climb and such, so they have climbing gear that gives them that leverage. I'll admit, though, that I can't recommend specifics because people's preferences play a huge role in their gear choices. Still, look for stuff aimed for them to find some good gear for ascending and descending.
I remember that barrel, water and dead mice drowning in the water, stinky, yuck. Dynamite, remember this one also, truly dangerous! I remember this one as well, 7 sticks of tender dynamite, don't touch. A single stick, remember this part of this video. I remember this one, about the cut and fill, you are a brave guy Gly, plus Frank crossed it first! I remember the one where you fell after turning around, you said you seen some eyes looking back at you before you turned, that even shocked me when you fell. Wow Gly, those were scary videos.
LOL! Out in the Randsberg district in the Mojave desert, some one found a full box a dynamite. We took it and that night we put it in our campfire. Of course we set back about 75 feet or so. There was no (BOOM) but man did it put on one heck of a sparkler show!! The box was outa the mid 19teens and we found it in 2013. Don’t try this at home kids. ⚡️🔥
Talking about critters , I don’t remember the name of the person who posted a video ( very young man) who was exploring with his dog . The dog ran ahead out of sight then you herd the dog give out a loud noise. The explorer had a sidearm but by the time he caught up to where his dog was , the big Cat had killed it with the death bite on back of neck and had begun to eat it . You could see it’s glowing eyes and he stopped and ran in the opposite direction. Personally I would never bring my dog underground but that’s just me
H2S04 and Black Damp. The silent killers. Dealt with it in the Coal Mines. All part of our work shift. Those barrels need a “Warning! Bad Air” reflective sign. Seriously!!! Most likely, return rabbits (human waste). Or smelting fluids? Dead Mouse Stew.
Is the equipment you have with you safe to have near that stuff, I know static discharges are not. You could always take a lighted match to it, just to be on the safe side.
What a best day, I finally had time to watch, great recaps. Never mess with old explosives, they leach nitroglycerin and it's not something to take a chance on. I've known a few Marines who in the line of duty were killed doing their job, well trained but still didn't make home to Momma. Can't wait to see the new Drone in action I know it's going to good. Congratulations on the numbers I know it's very important. Wow, I may have to park my Jeep and start driving my 4 banger Buick, gas today range from 4.99 to 6.10 but let us all take a moment and thank old lunch pail Joe, you know the working man's President!!! 😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣LETS GO BRANDON
150,000, viewers!!!!!!!!!! Now thats some achievement in less than 3 yrs.!!!!!!! Congrats. You "explorer", you. I know that you are rushing to get something of decent quality "up" before leaving to meet with Jeff, Frank, and Mr. M., but 20 mins. is only a teaser, aaagh.
When you find so much dynamite do you report it to the authorities so it can be disposed of? Someone else exploring may not be as smart as you and touch it and blow themselves up.
What a wonderful milestone. To know you started the channel only as a recovery for your cancer and now the channel has blessed you with 150k subs. Amazing how life works.
Gly, thanks for your dedication. We love you and your comments. God bless

Why was/is there such a lack of mining regulations ie) cleaning up after a mine shuts down?
