Switched things up from last video, where I had quite a large ensemble going on, to a new video with just 3 instruments! I'll probably be sticking with smaller ensembles for now (just rhythms section with 4 horns or so at most), and once I feel I've got that down, I'll move back to making larger arrangements. Also, I had a shot at doing some color grading for this video for the first time!

Very nice cover, especially cool piano part that really set up the grove for the sax, 3:41 really topped the whole thing off

Color me actually really impressed. I'd be intrigued to know how long you've been recording actually, because if I didn't know any better, I'd say you've been at this for three years at least. I mean, since you play the saxophone and piano so well, you've been playing for long enough to play both of them much more than competently. But for recording, if you've been recording for any less than a year and a half, you've really got a knack for this. Save for a couple of rough spots here and there, your arrangement is clean, your recording is clean, your playing is clean. You've done an all-round wonderful job with this.
I'm not much of a jazz musician myself. I actually play the furthest thing from jazz, but having a deep interest in jazz playing, and listened to a bunch of jazz artists for college recently and InsaneInTheRain, I can pick up on a couple things. I think the greatest thing this lacks is bass, which I can understand why you probably didn't include it (don't have one and can't find good VSTs, don't have the right recording equipment etc.), but it would certainly be something to look into at some point. Other than that, man, I tell you, you're going places. I know you can find a way to stand out. Your music is fabulous! It will be interesting to see where you end up in a year or more!
All-in-all, I'm really impressed by your talents. Keep doing this and I think you'll find yourself somewhere you never expected you'd be.
    Best and take care!

Wow, thanks! To answer your question, I've been recording things by myself for just under a year actually, and although I've only recorded myself for 4 projects, I had around 4 rounds of recording each on average until I got a result I was happy with, so I had more than enough time to figure things out via trial and error :)
