I wish I could buy a new one like that today. Just a basic truck with a stick shift, manual windows, bench seat, ext. I guess I’m gonna end up just building one. I can restore a old one much cheaper than buying a new one. And it will be way cooler!
@@whoawhoapop1984 my daily driver now is a 1988 Chevy S10 that my Dad bought new when I was a kid. I had engine rebuilt and truck repainted so it looks and drives like new again. Fuel injected 4 cylinder and 5 speed. It’s reliable and gets the job done plus it’s really cool 😎. I started driving it full time when he died last year and it’s been my daily ever since. It was his daily for almost 30 years. He got to old to clutch and shift the 5 speed and it got parked in the barn but I drug it out and revived it 👍🏻. Looks like the day it was bought new now. I wouldn’t trade it for a new one. So as you can see I put my money where my mouth is. I already made a daily out of a old tired S10. But sometimes I need a full size V8 truck and that’s why I’m looking at C10s. Once you work the bugs out and get everything squared away on them they can be as reliable as anything else. They were good enough then and they are good enough now with some work. The S10 is finished so fhe C10 hunt begins 😎
60-66 c10 the best looking trucks of all time
That's just Awesome

My dad has a 66 gmc we are working on and restoring. Your right, the basics of the old cars were great.
