The Great Animal Orchestra projected on the Sydney Opera House | 23rd Biennale of Sydney

The Great Animal Orchestra is a mesmerising audio-visual experience of animal sounds recorded in natural habitats around the world, by American pioneer soundscape ecologist Bernie Krause, in collaboration with London-based collective United Visual Artists, and presented by Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain.
The Sydney Opera House sails were illuminated with The Great Animal Orchestra over three nights from 9-11 March 2022, marking the countdown to the 23rd Biennale of Sydney, titled rīvus, which opened to the public on 12 March 2022.
