I'd been there for years and in between the quarters on break (I was a professor), they laid off all the full time professors, academic chairs, dean, and president of the campus. This new company had bought the school from the old company that was going bankrupt. They accrued the debt but didn't wanna pay in the end so they made cuts and the employees were the $$$. I've applied like crazy everywhere but no changes yet. Uneployment ran out. Y'all say a prayer for me.

Some are temp to hire after 90 days but, fire you on the 89th day.
