Ok, As a Granny fan nerd and Extreme mode beater, I have tips for you. The creaks have been expanded and are IMPOSSIBLE to avoid the intended way. The game is not random. The game cycles through five presets. Granny is not as fast as you think on extreme. She's pretty slow but DONT get spotted without a backup plan. Make sure Granny is following another sound before running. Hiding under tables makes it impossible for Granny to kill you. Listen for where Granny is. Turning off music would be ideal. In the spider cellar, make sure you know where Mom Spider is. Listen for breathing. The enemies spot you by your head, not your body. So they cant see you if you stand in a tunnel. But if you crouch down, they can. Make as many diversions as possible or make sure she's far before making noise. The sauna is your best friend until you get a weapon. Granny only has a CHANCE to break out the sauna if you overuse it. Memorise where items spawns on the certain presets. THIS IS ESSENTIAL. The spider cellar is easiest to escape on EVERY PRESET. Granny and Mom Spider have massive vision! DO NOT LET THEM SPOT YOU! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ON V1.8 ON IOS! Mom Spider is bugged on IOS where she can turn around randomly. THIS IS PATCHED ON PC AND ANDROID. Good luck y'all!
adding to that "listen to where granny is" part, when she opens that locked door to the backyard its prolly the best time to go exploring inside (she never goes up to the attic's locked door on her own according to the wiki) tho i remember granny might not actually go outside there's one guy called vividplays and he does this trick where when he's in a chase he uses the backyard window, waits for granny to follow him outside, before he gets back inside so he basically gets a headstart and it helps him lose granny
As a granny fan and an Extreme beater too, I'd like to add a few things too: 1. If you press up against a wall and drop an item, it will go through the wall. I found out this glitch after losing a hammer this way. I used this glitch to my advantage such as the prison room upstairs. I'd drop the item next to the planks or wall, and granny would tear the planks down for me without a hammer. I don't recommend doing it on a solid wall, since you may lose your item instead, but for thin walls, you should be able to reach it (given that there's a reachable room on the other side). 2. Make a lot of distractions to your advantage. Drop items in a certain room and make a get away while you can. I know that's a pretty general tip, but the dude above me already stated most of my strategy too 💀

Alright, cutting all the jokes at Caseoh’s expense, this is pretty impressive. You gotta appreciate the effort he puts into these runs because I know I wouldn't have the patience to beat Extreme. Nice job and looking forward to the Extreme Granny gauntlet.

Case if you go close enough to the prison bars you can actually throw the item to the opposite side also another reason why you find this so difficult is because you dont use sound to your advantage what you can do is once youre in one of those tunnels that have two exits throw the item you have on the opposite side of which you want to explore at so granny goes there and you have at least a bit of time

Case pro tip: you can lock granny in multiple times and you can throw items through the gate (if youre standing close enough to the gate) to lure granny
Case if you wanna lock granny in that room and not have her break the door open you gotta be faster, so instead of waiting in that closet in front of the stairs you can just wait on the other side of the door you're gonna lock, she can't see you And if she breaks the thing you can never do it again in the same gameplay, you can do it as many times as you want if she doesn't break out

one tip to dodge one of the floorboards. behind the boxes, in the room where you got the stairs going down and the other box area containing the secret room, you can crouch under the railing and skim the sides to dodge the floorboard. you can even use that method to fall down and get down just a little bit quicker. also another strat, at the upstairs part with the doors to the start bedroom, bathroom ect. you can crouch off the railing onto the top of the closet, granny cant get you up there, and if you wait for her to loose sight then run off into the basement. 3rd strat. throw an item into the sauna and hide behind the door. granny cant see you through the window, and once she runs inside, lock it up and turn it on. gives an extra 15 seconds because it doesn't kill her straight away.

Case if you wanna lock granny in that room and not have her break the door open you gotta be faster, so instead of waiting in that closet in front of the stairs you can just wait on the other side of the door you're gonna lock, she can't see you
And if she breaks the thing you can never do it again in the same gameplay, you can do it as many times as you want if she doesn't break out

one tip to dodge one of the floorboards. behind the boxes, in the room where you got the stairs going down and the other box area containing the secret room, you can crouch under the railing and skim the sides to dodge the floorboard. you can even use that method to fall down and get down just a little bit quicker.
also another strat, at the upstairs part with the doors to the start bedroom, bathroom ect. you can crouch off the railing onto the top of the closet, granny cant get you up there, and if you wait for her to loose sight then run off into the basement.
3rd strat. throw an item into the sauna and hide behind the door. granny cant see you through the window, and once she runs inside, lock it up and turn it on. gives an extra 15 seconds because it doesn't kill her straight away.
