Elevator Pits Pressurization

For buildings have 4 stories or greater in height shall be provided with a dedicated elevator for fire fighting department and it shall be pressurized and to be connected to standby power supply.

According to SBC 801, Buildings with floors more than 4 shall be provided with elevators dedicated for fire department use and these elevators shall be protected against fires using smoke extraction fans.
