Sonic one was good. Sonic 2 was a freaking masterpiece. Sonic 3 (Knuckles too) were also good. I wish Sega didn't turn this serious into that whole "KEWL SPEED BRO!!!" type thing. Playing Mario at age 28 isn't embarrassing, but I feel like a dweeb playing a modern Sonic game. They're cringe worthy in presentation and gameplay

this is why i just stick to the og sonics and the sonic hacks. sega shouldn’t have rushed to join the 3d bandwagon so quickly back in the day.
